Tein Bonnet Struts for sale! I am selling these because it raises my bonnet too high for my liking, I can make it sit lower but I do not want to cut my battery covers so that it fits. I did damage one of the ball sockets that screws onto the strut upon removal from my car but I bought a replacement from SGS engineering so everything is included and as it should be. I am after £35 including postage. Picture below shows damaged ball, but I do have replacement which can be screwed on to replace this

Haha I know I was using the incorrect hole but using the one that is further in means some serious cutting to the plastic covers and when I finally get round to engine dressing I want them in one piece! I also feel like I shouldnt have to cut plastic covers to make it fit so I think I will probably sell these on. Thanks for the advice! ☺

Hi guys I attempted to fit my Tein bonnet struts today and tried to fit it into the bolt below. There is a user on here who has managed to connect their struts to this particular bolt, but when I tried I had to push the bonnet all the way up and I still couldn't get it to pop on. I would need to compress the strut to be able to fit it but I am unable to do this so i'm just after some advice. Is it worth getting rid of these struts and buying some others that fit better? Thanks Scott
