Cobra is louder than the scorpion ...... Yours must be very raspy with decats and scorpion , I know mine was !! Just fitted my invidia with motordyne art pipes ..... Seems to be a good combo , no rasp , real v6 howl on full chat and not to loud cruising . Only done 10 miles , so will see how it sounds after a few 100 .

Yes true , but most don't dyno a standard car and then put on all the mods and then dyno again . I know I didn't , first thing I done was buy and exhaust and fit it !

The main problem you have james is that to get a proper tuned increase figure it would have been best to have the car set a pre tune run and then add all the mods then dyno/ map to find a true increase in bhp/ftlb . In the real world this isn't going to happen often . I would say 345 @ the fly on jez's dyno is bang on the money . As its already been said I wouldn't waste any more time/ effort / money on more tuning on a n/a zed . You could go FI but again this is a massive investment ( it's not an investment at all , it's a sure way of loosing lots of money ) and then you can see some good gains . For instance I pulled 430 bhp .... Put a smaller pulley on and a map tweek ( cost £250 for both inc fitting ) and gained another 35 bhp . But on the flip side you could put that FI money into a new car and say end up with a 430 bhp m3/ rs4 ect The other thing to look at if staying n/a is final drive gears . This won't net you any more hp but will increase acceleration due to the shorter gearing ....

I have bought another invidia system . Cutting out the middle section mate wont really do that much , except you might get more rasp Look out for a 2nd hand system mate if you dont want to spend too much

Bit late to be talking about discount now they have your car in bits ! Hahahah As with everything like this , all takes time and tweeking to get it right . Will be epic once fitted though what sort of power are you aiming for on the stock block ?

If the cars up in the air then I would suggest trying to wrap the hfc still on the car if possible .... A lot of work / hassle / cost to take them off just to wrap .

From my experience the traditional style exhaust ( not true dual ) with decats or hfc will rasp . I had a scorpion with hfc and it was chav tastic , really raspy . Then swooped to invidia ... No rasp but slight drone on the motorway . Then I went decats and miltek system ... Again loads of rasp .... Change to the art pipes ( decat with side resonator ) a lot less rasp , no drone ..... Almost too quite !! I've now bought another invidia to pair with the art pipes and hope this to be the winning combo !! Gets fitted tomorrow so will let you know !! My best guess would be for you to get the art pipes .... Quieter than the hfc and good gains .... Only down side is you need a friendly mot place .' Or buy an invidia !

If I saw it before I would of got it, the one I bought was a absolute sh*t fitment! Haha I was looking at charging it but not paying that amount! I had my type r supercharged which was half the price for the zed! Tell me about it It is pretty pricey to charge ..... But o so worth it

Could be an early 06 as my last one was an 06 and a none rev up and lower tax It is , as it doesnt have the facelift interior/ lights/ bumper A very nice car though , with some nice subtle touches Glwts

We have our normal 50" plasma downstairs which is fine for everyday viewing ( although i hardly watch it ) the tv upstairs is only for movies ... But yes have started to look into a good projector to get that bigger screen feel ...
