  1. Happy to help with this mate drop me a message.
  2. Shame about the 350 going but lovely looking bmw, should be more fun after a remap.
  3. What a stunner, will keep an eye out for you Neil
  4. Another recommendation for paints4u brilliant service and product from them always use them.
  5. Nothing wrong with that Neil very close then, im in Coulsdon, any pictures of your car I will keep an eye out.
  6. Think I will be there for this keep an eye out in the pits should have my company polo on
  7. Stunning glad they did the right think with the engine even though it took too long to sort.
  8. Anyone on here? Seen this car about a fair bit.
  9. I use either Britemax iron max which is much much better than Ironx in my opinion as it also has cleaning ability, doesn't smell bad at all and has a double agitate so spray on then once you think it's broken down agitate and it will start to attack any remaining dirt and Iron. The other one I use is Sonax full effect wheel cleaner, normal wheel cleaner with built in iron remover. Being honest though if your not looking after the wheels regularly something like bilberry is good enough.
  10. Welcome to the forum, thats a stunning z you have.
  11. Never had that great a success with the stuff you put in the tank. I have a car where clogged injectors are a big problem and normally take them off and send them to injectortune, they clean them to as new.
  12. If chips away charge that then get it done.
  13. No real set time as it will depend on weather and temperature but normally around 20-25 minutes I find. Don't be tempted to blob it on though, build it up in thin layers.
  14. Polish it first to remove any scratching, then if you have some alcohol wipe the scratch down so the touch up will take nicely and isn't going ontop of any polish. Once the touch up is built up just above the existing paint, wet sand it (leave the paper to soak in a bowl with alittle fairy liquid for an hour or so) till it's flush with your other paint and polish it to remove the sanding marks and help blend it in. If your polishing by hand I would stick to a higher grade paper so you have a better chance of removing the marks.
  15. Best bet for that if your confident is to fill the scratch with touch up pen, ideally mix the colour and clear coat together and slowly build the layers. Then if your confident get some 2500-3000 grade and wetsand it or just polish it.
  16. I would steer clear of these, they don't absorb anything and constantly clog up. The costco ones are very good 36 for around £14 but they have just changed supplier and there not as good as the old ones.
  17. That's really nice, subtle little touches really bring the look up to date.
  18. Just read through this, great thread that boot with spoiler really changes the look of the car, looks great.
  19. Id go with the 3m pads then, the car was only in for a single stage detail but the results were so good from the polishing combo's I threw the second polishing step in.
