I've wondered about this myself. Would VHT lacquer be needed? Does such a thing exist? I've lacquered normal paint on an engine cover before and it was fine.

Managed to complete one side almost last night! Wow, how i was stopping i dont know haha, i fail to see much where the pad was actually touching the disc on the inside!
