I did the same, the smoke out the back I initially thought it was coming from the tailpipes and thought the worst. Turned out I hadn't put the dipstick back in fully, argh. The mess it made down the one side of the engine and under tray was substantial.

I find I'm able to eye ball the level better on the back of the dipstick oddly.

That's about right to be fair

You can better the Michelins for steering feel and outright dry grip however, or wet weather performance.

^ same, who wants ugly sidewalls..... I use to love the old Yokohama Parada Spec 2 as the sidewall design was minimal and took to tyre dressing fantastic. Had about 3 sets in different sizes over the years. I personally hate a busy sidewall design, all in the detail.

First time to tried I had to pull the lot off, second attempt applied it wet which was what's needed. Then heat applied to the edges. The bubbles I had then in the heat of the sun came out and any larger bubbles, I made a pin hole in the wrap and fingered the moisture out

They're GREAT, steering felt so much lighter and direct honestly even before coming off the drive. Loads of steering feel and sportiness on the road, really want to put my 19's back on but abit pointless just to sit pretty on the drive collecting dew dust Any of the top 3 UHP tyres, id say you'd be chuffed with - all down to price & looks.

Hard braking with a small amount of lock on also revealed that the sidewalls were less inclined to fold, making it much easier to attack each braking point and trail the brakes towards the apex with consistency.

Ok that makes sense, the wrap has another top film that you peel of after application. This film gets scratches during application which is finally removed, without doing do it will look cloudy.

Love that new avatar pal!! Yeah, reads well that stuff as it incorporates PTFE polymers used in their flagship sealant. Wanted try it out last night instead of the paste sealant, but with the wind picking up stopped that bright idea.
