why would we have a clear understanding of the cosmos if the the big bang is thought to be fact? All it means is we have an idea of how it possibly started. That's it. It doesn't suggest that, aha! we now understand everything about dark matter, zero point science, quantum physics and the like. Again, the idea the universe is expanding is just that, an idea. There's just as much chance that there is an end to it or it's not expanding at all. Why? Because in all honesty nobody really knows what the dickens is going on.

I think it's safe to say everything we think is right is probably wrong. Hence, the general book of ignorance.

Really good point. To me, the Russian conquest in Syria is nothing more than a training exercise for them. As someone else has already said - Jetpilot i think - They don't give a sh*t about anything, including Syria.

I do think perhaps we went in guns blazing here, after all it's about what you can prove, not what we think or believe. This is not to say that Russia didn't do it, they very well may have. IMO, it would've come across a lot better for us and worse for Russia if we had some conclusive evidence to wave in their face.

MX-5 is a roadster is it not? Is that still considered a sports car? It's an honest question, i'm not dicking about. Plus. the GT86 is a sports car? Doesn't come across as that sporty to me. I've driven one and thought it was o.k. Bouncy suspension and a slightly asthmatic engine. Didn't rock my world but o.k, sports car it is. How do we define a sports car? what aspects qualify this category?

Yeah but, no but , yeah but....the GT86, even with its pithy 200 horses is still quite a popular car. And i don't think that really knows what it's supposed to be either. It's not really a GT car or a "sports" car, nor is it really heavy competition for anything in its price/power range IMO. Yet, here we are. I'm sure someone will happily beat me with their correction stick if i'm wrong.

Perhaps - and this really is reaching - the reason why you can see a ship over the "curve" of the earth could be due to gravity. Gravity can bend light. Our eyes make sense of light by translating it into images. So, maybe we can see a ship over the horizon due to the phenomenon of gravity pulling/bending light and projecting an image of an object that isn't actually in eye-shot physically, but what we can see is a frequency of light that is being bent by the gravity of the earth. Taa daaaaaa!!!! Nobel prize please

Not trying to scare munger here but, just keep an eye on the turbo if the engine has over heated temporarily. On a more exciting note, i had a blitz NUR - Spec -R on my four and it sounded epic!!!

Yes, some of it is guess work to a degree, but obviously based on something else scientifically accepted that suggests/predicts/confirms what they think. It's not just picked out the air. At the same time i don't think they rally around confessing that it's gospel but share what they think (based on blah blah blah that i said before)
