  1. Nice one thanks. I'll look for some good ridge hoses. I've seen HEL ones on camskill website, but not goodridge. Strut brace is a good idea, I'll do that too. Well that's not too bad £150! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Good man! Just make sure the brake fluids not years old and go for it, that way you can go through what needs changed/improved after you've done a track day and not waste money unnecessarily That's what I'm thinking...I did a fluid change last summer so that's all fine ( along with disks and pads ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Discussed the fate of her mr2 tonight....I'm allowed to tun it into a track day toy,! So what do I do first? Book one up and see how it goes, or is there anything you suggest is worth doing before even going near a track? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Agreed tonight that we can turn the mr2 into a track toy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I know the tyres need replacing, but what sizes are they please?
  6. Richard Hammond was in a coma for a while; he seems ok now. But I know what you mean...it's not good is it. I was never a Schumacher fan, but at the end of the day it's someone's dad, husband, son. Not nice for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Lol! Impressive record!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Mine arrived today, many thanks 14N !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I think that's fair. Thier grace as a "new team" has surely passed, they need to be fighting for points. What's the point in running round so far off the pace with one other team. Marussia and Caterham literally offer nothing to the sport in terms of excitement for the fans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Plasti dip...

I used it to refinish the door pull, but that's only a temporary solution before I ask Vlad to do some dipping for us! I wouldn't fancy it on my wheels but is a massive craze in the states. Have u got any spare wheels to try it on first? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hope it's not caused too Much damage / could really put them behind Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. I later bought a Golf R32 An E46 M3 with SMG gearbox Another Rx8, this time a super rare pearlescent paint / cream interior model I also had a Supercharged VR6 MK3 to play with at the same time as the Rx8 : A BMW 123D (tuned to 280bhp, MEGA fast and 50mpg!) I then stopped buying nice cars to help fund a house purchase with my girlfriend, and renovations from 70s chic to modern taste!! Currently I have a cheap BMW 118d We have this MR2 in the garage (not sure what to do with it!) And it's my girlfriend who has the 350Z Roadster
  19. Some nice cars in this thread!! Was reading last night so i'll post some of mine. I'm 30 now, and had around 25 cars so far, so I wont bore you all - these are a pick of my favourite. All these cars were bought completely standard and I have made the changes you see in the photos! My first "modified" car (actually my 2nd car) A VW Polo 16v : I was going to put a 20vT engine in, but went the easy route and bought the SEAT Ibiza Cupra : I then sold that and got a new Mazda Rx8, which ended badly : I tried to buy the Ibiza back, but the guy had wrecked it so I bought a Leon Cupra and put the Cupra R bumpers on it etc : I then got a Mini Cooper S : An Audi TT : Then I had a kit car with a 1000RR Fireblade engine and gearbox as a track toy, so I had a focus to run around in and tow to tracks : continued!...

  22. If you've only got a month left that should be perfect; it's exactly the same as us. My mrs current mr2 policy was due in a month so she rang and they added her new 350z so both were covered for rest of policy. Give your current insurer a call first, it shouldn't be this hard! 23. I read that too...interesting take on the rules! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Hi, we needed to Insure the 350z for a short period too. We ended up ringing the current insurer and they just added it to the policy for 4 weeks for about £50 including a £15 admin fee. I also did something similar when selling my previous car, they swapped my new car onto the policy and added the old car for a week, so there was a cross over. I've also taken out temp cover for cars before and found it very poor value. Ring your current insurer I'm sure they can help you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
