  1. I'm after the following : 1) a set of Genuine Facelift LED rear lights 2) a drivers door pull (must be very good condition) 3) a gear knob (must be very good condition) PM if you have any of the above Thanks, Mark
  2. I'd love to fit a set of these to the Mr's 350z but I'm worried about the quality from the states. I'll put a wanted post up. Wonder how much Alex sells them for?
  3. Awaiting delivery of a key case from eBay ( thanks for the info and links ) Been getting the car ready for my mrs to start driving it, her first comment ... "I don't like the key" - so thank god for this thread, thought I'd have to sell the car LOL Did anyone find a supply of the 350z stickers for the rectangle cut out on the front side of the key ?
  4. I paid £850 for the complete supply and fit. The mohair roof is far superior to the material the 350z uses as standard and will easily outlast the factory roof. I'll take some pics tomorrow.
  5. Hey guys, I went to this place today http://www.carhood.com car hood warehouse in Chessington. These guys really know their cabriolets ! I had a black mohair roof fitted to my girlfriends 350z roadster by them. It's 100% better than the original, I'm so pleased with the look and the quality. If your roof is damaged, tatty or has a bodged repair (like in our case) then don't put it off, give them a call.
  6. Lock up your Zed for the winter and run this through the rain and salty roads! 2004 VAUXHALL VECTRA SRI 16V. 2.2i Direct Petrol I've owned this car for 18 months. Our original plan was to keep it for a year while we moved house and began renovations, but it's simply kept going without issue, so didn't look to replace it! I'm only selling it now because I've been offered to buy a car from my parents for a price which I can't refuse! Exterior wise, it has some age related scratches and marks, but no rust or major damage. I would describe as average to good for the year and mileage. I've seen a lot worse! The Interior is in excellent condition, no damage to the seats etc. I would describe as good for the year and mileage. - It has some service history, - The car comes Taxed and MOTd until June 2014. - Recently had new battery and alternator. - Very important to note this car has had the two major (expensive) common faults fixed with the 2.2 direct engine; 1) Fuel Pump 2) Cam chains (main and balance) and tensioners. I also had the auxiliary belt and tensioner replaced at the same time as the cam chains, then not long after, I had the front lower ball joints and anti roll bar bushes replaced. This is a good clean car, you would struggle to beat it for the money. I've advertised it locally for £995 ono, with the imminent arrival of my new car, plus my partner has just bought a 2nd car for herself we simply don't have the space to keep all 4 cars! Hence the low price, come and see it and make me an offer! £950 ono - based in Camberley Surrey.
  7. Did you ever get this done, interested in your findings and experience ?
  8. Smoked or clear for uk pre facelift car please!
  9. PM sent regarding detailing equipment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi, thanks - that's one of the items I had looked at. Can you disconnect and therefore disable the amplification? Or is it a different type of aerial all together when amplified? Thanks for the reply. Mark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hey guys. Question; is the aerial in the 350z amplified? We have bought a pioneer avh-x3500DAB and I've been reading all the excellent info on here with regard to adaptors and fitting guides. I think I am all set but I've still got to decide which DAB aerial to use. I was going to get the specified (by pioneer) av-dab1 (internal windscreen mounted) but now I've seen these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/06-536-AUTOLEADS-CAR-RADIO-AERIAL-DAB-DAB-SPLITTER-SONY-PIONEER-JVC-ALPINE-/160923001331 which will basically turn the factory aerial into a dab on. States it has to be unamplifed, how can I find out? Many thanks Mark
  12. Hi, we've bought an x3500dab, getting together everything I need to fit it. I was going to buy a pioneer an-dab1 internal aerial but after reading your post I am questioning if that is best. Do you happen to know if the 350z standard aerial is amplified? I've seen these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/06-536-AUTOLEADS-CAR-RADIO-AERIAL-DAB-DAB-SPLITTER-SONY-PIONEER-JVC-ALPINE-/160923001331 which look like a nice solution but it said not for amplified systems.... Thanks
  13. Yes, I tried! To be fair she does like it and apparently "likes the way the brakes are colour coded" .... Bit still wants red. You know what these women are like!
  14. Thanks everyone.... Deposit put on a car from tradelink today. The car is actually for my girlfriend, and she already has a list of things to do to the car, so i'll be busy for the next few months! Looking forward to picking it up once tradelink have prepped it for us.
  15. Do you still have this car? I'm after the volt / oil / trip gauges from a uk car... Any chance?! Mark
  16. yeah it is.... Women! Give me a azure coupe any day plus they are easier to find!
  17. Hi Greg, I wondered how come you didn't reply.... I think I may have missed off the hyphen. I'll check and resend. Thanks for all the welcomes!
  18. Good point on the price. £8k ideally but that's not "fixed" .... however £12500 is a bit too much for her to spend (it's for the mrs) ! We've been to see the £7990 one, I hope we can come to an agreement with the seller ( tradelink ) but waiting to hear back from them on a couple of things. Many thanks for the post!
  19. As title, prefer max of around 60k miles, must be red, and a UK car. All specs considered, GT or not. Cash waiting to be spent for the right car! Contact me if your interested in selling or know of a good one. Thanks, Mark B
  20. Hey everyone, thought I'd post up in here first. My partner is currently in the hunt for a 350z so obviously that means I'm looking, she'll be driving! Were after a red roadster, budget is of around £8k. Ideally like earlier than 06 for tax reasons. We've seen 3 cars this weekend, two were cheap at around £6k and we knew we'd need to spend a couple of k to bring them up to standard, which isn't a problem we both quite enjoy a bit of elbow grease, bit of a project. However they were both very disappointing in their own ways. First car had a massive dent in the rear quarter and a number of dings and scuffs. The rays wheels were in terrible condition and the remote for the bird view was missing. The second was overall better but had a small tear in the roof, around an inch long by the drivers window. I did haggle a good deal @£5750 for that 2nd car but I have to do some research on replacing the roof before I commit...problem is it's grey and she really wants red! I said there is always wrapping :-) Third car was at the place I'm sure you guys have heard of, " tradelink " near Hemel Hempstead. Up for around £8k with 40k miles seemed good and pictures looked excellent. Unfortunately in reality the car was disappointing as it stood. Someone had painted the front bumper and drivers wing but lazily left the bonnet and passenger wing pebble dashed with heavy stone chipping. Also, it's come over from Ireland so speedo, odometer and trip info are all in KLMS which was disappointing. Also the roof had some stitching which was coming undone and the roof wouldn't fully go down. However the guy at tradelink did agree to get all those issues sorted for a price which my mrs seemed happy to pay. (Just!) I'm just waiting to get the answers to an email from him before I commit on a deposit. So i'll put a wanted post up in the right section but if you know of a good red roadster please let us know! That's all for now, I'm sure I'll be around a fair amount especially if tradelink don't come up true to their word and I end up buying one of the project cars we looked at! Cheers, Mark.
