Too many people end up paying way over the top for work done on their cars due to lack of knowledge and a basic idea of how much repairs/services should cost within reason. That's what makes this forum and similar sites invaluable for research and advice from fellow forum members. i am fortunate to have quite a few friends in the motor trade that i can count on for a quality and reliable service.

As said above, My second wife wasn't into bikes and i had a GSXR1000. First time out did about 30 miles really steady and when we got of her hands where white from holding on too tight, but after that first ride she started to relax a bit more realising you don't have hold on for grim death and started to enjoy it a bit more. What i would say is i always appreciate she is not a big bike fan so i always ride very steady with her on the back other wise she wouldn't come out.

Is it a facelift model with sat nav?

The car always goes on the rollers for a brake test to see how efficient and balanced the brakes are on each side.

They have gone up to £109 now! I was going to order a pair for when needed.

I ordered mid an back box had them fitted and found my oem Y pipe was blowing, as fitting must of disturbed the flexi joints ! Then had to wait another week for the Y pipe to arrive which I wish I had ordered in the first place

When I bought mine off a dealer I googled the previous owners address and there it was sat on the drive outside a very nice house!

Congratulations as a first bike you can't go wrong with a honda cbr600 f, comfy and quick enough. Can pick up a nice one for 1500 quid.
