  1. I agree it looks a bit busy but they are all vents and probably needed for improved airflow and I presume the round one is for cooling too.
  2. Spotted this for sale whilst looking for a 370 is it any one on here. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201611209944495?onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&model=370%20Z&radius=1500&make=NISSAN&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=distance&postcode=dl78yu&page=5
  3. Crikey that's flown by, He was a great guy and I shall have a pint for him after work!
  4. Hi and welcome, just down the road in Northallerton
  5. Falcon are Excellent, I took Mine for a service and check there & had the fans replaced will always recommend and I'm sure lots of people will second this.
  6. I have just had to replace mine, bought a Yuasa and It's absolutely fine
  7. Very rare, dealers weren't allowed to put the facelifts on the road until April 1st 2006 so this could be one of the cars that Nissan brought over for the press to test. Around half a dozen of them I believe. Pete I have one of these
  8. Hi and welcome, I came from a 54 blob eye STI to the 350Z as well
  9. Jesus! Less than £200 for the zed haha How does the multi car policy work? If one person on the policy has an accident does everyone lose their no claims bonus? It's still 3 separate insurance policy's just all under admiral, One in my sons name for his car us as named drivers, One in my name for the Z with the wife as a named driver, and the Wife has got the Quashqai with me as the named driver.
  10. I changed over to multi car policy with Admiral a year ago as my son had just passed his test and got a car and some of the quotes he was getting where stupid, On their multi car policy managed to get him insured for 750 fully comp for the first year and it just came down to £550 and I pay less than £200 for the Z & £220 for our 64 plate Quashqai DL postcode
  11. Definitely get it checked out, Had the same problem and the tyre was trashed on the inside, all the rubber had beaded and worn of so had to replace.
  12. Hi and welcome I also came from an Impreza STI to my 350z
  13. I Have been thinking on what to change the 350 for when I eventually decide to move on and the only car I keep coming back to is the 370. I have had plenty of quick thirsty cars but the 350 is a great compromise of everything, Comfy, decent on fuel and sounds great. Try and find a 370 with a few nice extras
  14. Yeah I saw that too :-) and also found my old skyline there and had a good chat with the guy that now owns it.
  15. Which mitt did you try? Even on a hot surface it shouldn't do that. On a hot surface it just becomes grabbier - it's best used on a cool, shaded car - but it shouldn't leave anything behind unless it was cheap eBay knock off. Cloths/mitts are better, easier and quicker than bars on large, relatively flat surfaces but they're next to useless for anything fiddly. Bars are much more pliable to smaller gaps. they each have their uses. Also I've never seen anyone yet claim that you need a specialist product to use as lubricant for cloths/mitts either. I ordered it from the Clay Cloth Company, I think it was recommended somewhere, thought i would give one a go as using the clay bar took all day
  16. I bought my clay mitt last year and got round to using it for the first time last weekend and couldn't get away with it as it kept leaving the rubber compound on the paintwork which was a pain to get off, Now it was quite warm that day which could be the problem?. I ended up using my claybar to remove the residue from the clay mitt.
