  1. I just dont know what to say about that.................
  2. New gas struts are good for holding up the bootlid and a thick rubber washer, thin metal washer and a rubber stopper has done the trick for the one handed opening thanks for the info
  3. Just picked up the car from Abbey thanks Mark and Scott!! Much better with the exhaust fixed (along with all the other little things) Next, I need to get it dyno'd so I know what the starting point is.... feels a little sluggish if Im honest.
  4. From when I was into my photography, not the Z, just the GTR And a few other cars:- My old impreza STI My missus old mini cooper S Porsche photoshoot
  5. Yeah, lots of history there..... On a side note.... Im assuming the same Tricky from the supra forum Hi Graham, yes still lurk on a few forums, have you bought a Z as well as the GTR then? Yeah, got me a cheap Fairlady as a run-about.... Its currently awaiting pickup from Abbey Motorsport (unfortunately the visit was just for a few fixes, no extra power or other goodies).
  6. Id be interested to know how much its going to cost, if you dont mind spilling the beans (future planning)..... rebuild or engine swap
  7. Yeah, lots of history there..... On a side note.... Im assuming the same Tricky from the supra forum
  8. Will be on the list to change after winter.... but for now they will do fine Thanks!!!
  9. Car is being dropped off at Sly tomorrow morning, nice and early. Not much happening, just the boot and a few small fixes. Just love the roads out to his place
  10. Dropped the car off at Abbey Motorsport last night. They have the car for at least 2 weeks to get a couple of things sorted while I go on holiday!!
  11. welcome.... its a shame that its all talk........ where are the pictures????
  12. Good looking photos.... a circular polarizer filter will help stop the Z from reflecting so much and make it stand out more.
  13. Cars looks good, welcome. Are the wheels spaced? Or is that how they fit?
  14. In Winter if they are not strong enough the boot falls on your head in cold weather... :scare: Missus found out the hard way
  15. thanks from me too, I need them as well
  16. Im tempted to change my GTRs seats to something a little more hardcore/smaller, Im a find them a little big for me
  17. Nah! nae money Mike. If I wanted more power and improved handling than I would just upgrade my R35 track edition, however happy with it at the moment on road and on track. 100k is a lot of money for a big heavy car and it would make more sense just to spash out on a 911GT3 RS if you predominantly just want a superb track car. Alex. 125k For this price, I would expect more of an "event" when it gets driven on the weekends. Some aspects look good, I like the seats (though they look like Recaro Sportsters/Speedsters - cant remember the name), the carbon boot and clocks look great (have an FPR boot on its way) and no ceramic brakes by the looks of the photos (very disappointing considering the money required). I will stick with MY10 at stage 4.25 (long story) and continue with a few more tweaks (2011/2012 suspension, uprated discs and pads, custom aero and track day wheels).
  18. Apparently filmed in reverse and only took 1 take
  19. Yeah, was going to get the plenum done when it comes off for a spacer considering the original state, I am happy
  20. The nice clean headlights:- And now the crappy photos thanks to my iphone cover
