  1. So we will have a mini 240z club..... just need Darren to buy a GTR as well
  2. "The WANT is strong with this one..." *** TRUE! *** sadly.......... but its still just an overpriced beetle with too much tech!
  3. Now that is an update well impressed with all that. Not sure on the modern headunit though.... you really should hide that somewhere out of sight. Car is looking fantastic and making me VERY jealous!! Whats the price and wait time of a 991 GT3 again Must admit I am not a Porsche fan (well other than the old ones, the really old ones), but when I watched this I did go looking at prices:-
  4. because its just someone having a play in photoshop
  5. Absolutely love that render!! That is what sold me on the car.... I did see the Concept IDx at Goodwood and it looked very good. I really hope Nissan makes it. Most definitely!! 70s design and modern reliability
  6. Cant really argue, but everytime I look at it, I realise what its capable of and how I feel when I drive it shes beautiful in my eyes +1 ^ Doubt they will move away from it.... even the 2020 concept kept the lights
  7. Quite honestly, no sarcasm... I take trains into London from Surrey, because the traffic is just a nightmare every day and the way people drive just makes me angry. With self drive, I could lie in the car, resting, sleeping and not worry. The only other option is cycling and I used to cycle to work (6 miles) and pretty much every trip had a near death experience thanks to idiots trying to squeeze past, mis-judging the distance to a concrete divide and buses, just being buses, they were the worst. I would still keep the GTR/240z for pleasure driving.... driving to work for me has never been fun, whereas just going for a drive in Sussex or Kent is for the fun of it. I would have some energy efficient POS that is self-drive, just for work. The biggest cost of insurance is accidents, so insurance for vandalism, natural disasters, etc is such a small piece of the pie.
  8. Have to agree.... I have had 700hp Supras struggle against my GTR (however from much lower speeds) and I got shown my ass yesterday by a 800hp GTR, I got the jump on reaction and he just came flying past!!! Having said that, the GTR is geared for lower speeds and corner exit acceleration. Anyone know the full spec on the 370z? Its rather impressive.
  9. Really? I really like the idea of self driving.... * I dont have to take train to work * It takes the idiots off the road * Driving becomes about the pleasure of it * Imagine the savings on insurance!!!
  10. MX5 is a good example, its an awesome little car and its great fun (under powered, but its still so much fun to drive).... and its a shame as I always really liked the IDx as modding platform.
  11. Can't wait to see mine finished let alone Ian's lol. Finished...... I don't think that word has been entered into the Zeditus dictionary. This one will be finished long before yours he has a deadline..... Yours is like my 240z......... never ending!
  12. thanks, mine has been on a ramp and all checked
  13. I paid 2k for mine (Arizona edition - torsen diff), with no rust on sills, 1.8 engine, standard, FSH, just under 70k miles. Im a lazy buyer, refuse to travel, refuse to argue much, I was at the point that I wanted the car and just want the purchase over with
  14. What you looking for?
  15. Looking really good, cant wait to see this finished!!
  16. Stand out is the idea Cool, MX5nuts is a good place to start, lots of info. On track though, with a few mods the MX5 is fantastic, its slow (I have high standards) but they are still great fun!!! I dont think you can go wrong with one
  17. Some more parts arrived today, thank you GSM
  18. Yeah, there were a couple of comps.... I was driving one of the comp winners around the track But they also got weekend tickets to Nissan hospitality (all food and drink, etc), same tickets the GTROC got
  19. You should have come over to Nurburgring for the 24 hour race! Nissan/Nismo put on a great event for us. If you didnt see the post http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/98218-nurburring-24h-race/
  20. So some parts have started to arrive Steering wheel and quick release:- Then this arrived:- Thank you RareRims.co.uk, ordered them yesterday morning, arrived at 13:40
  21. yeah, my 2002 was just under 400hp and it was daft..... so more power is just insane!!
  22. I think when I had mine (2007/08) the thing I enjoyed most was that my best mate also had one so we were always tinkering together on the cars. He still has his which is a JDM my99 Impreza Sti Type RA V-Limited now sporting around 450Bhp@hubs (BBK, Teins etc etc). It is a flippin' animal. Must be an animal!!
  23. I know right. Still a great looking saloon car imo whatever badge it's sporting though. Subaru ran 1 car and it ran perfectly and won the class and finished 18th overall...... I have a soft spot for Imprezas Me too sort of, ...loved my96 JDM Impreza but just not the constant repair bills. Guess that's what I get though for buying an import with no history and modding it to within an inch of it's life. Loved the noise my anti lag set up used to make. Have had 4 of them, non turbo, 2000GT, v3 sti, v7 sti.... and I bought a rather nice type R for a friend - loved them and never had issues with any of mine. 400hp and lots of suspension, brakes and track based mods (seats, stripped, r888s) and it was just too much for the road. Still regret selling that one...
