No, shouldn't be. Is it the standard exhaust system? Could be that you have a collapsed baffle inside the back box which would possibly make one seem louder/quieter than the other. Just a guess.

Touch up paint is cheap enough at the Nissan Dealerships plus they should give you the correct colour going from your VIN number. Think I was charged only around £4.99 from my local Nissan Dealership for the touch up paint & lacquer.

I dodged a similar bullet Ian many years ago when I traded in an old car. The garage I traded it in with only gave me scrap value (£150) for my 92 Rover 214si ~ I was happy with that tbh as I had abused the hell out of it around Castle Combe several times and it wasn't in great shape. Plus it had no tax & the MOT had just expired. Anyway they sold it the very next day to a guy who planned on fixing it up. He left it outside his house and the Plod sent me a ticket a month or so later for having an untaxed vehicle on the road. I was so chuffed when I realized that it was nothing to do with me. Sales receipts are good for something it would seem.

Welcome aboard 3fiddleyzed. I totally get why you want to part-ex and that's exactly what I did with my old car for my 350. I could have got a few hundred more for my Civic Type R by selling it privately but really couldn't be bothered with the hassle of having test pilots turn up at my door, waiting around for buyers to make serious offers etc etc. Was easier and in the end safer just to trade it in. I was happy with what I got for it in the end anyway and love my Zed. Good luck with the search.

Thanks bud! I think there are actually two shades of WV2, so I'd imagine that it's just been sprayed the wrong shade... Can't wait to get it all resprayed, hating having no badge on the front at the mo! Ah ok. Will look much better when the resprays completed.
