  1. Very good work SuperStu. Whilst most people where probably piling on a few pounds today eating chocolate you've probably lost a few working on those two.
  2. Fair enough. There are some videos in this link supplied of various exhausts although bear in mind that they will all sound different in person especially as different cameras/video recorders will all have different microphones etc. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...-videos-thread/ There are several excellent traders on here who will be more than happy to help you get a decent exhaust system for your Zed. Tarmac Sportz, The Cougar Store and Horsham Developments just to name a few. It's also worth checking for "group buys" on these things as that'll save you money. I'd personally recommend the Invidia Germini as it's a great quality system ~ it's a true dual system and doesn't have any "flexi" joints like some exhausts. This is Tarmac Sportz website (just to give you ideas on what they look like/prices ); http://www.tarmacspo...fc-24678e254d1d
  3. Interesting programme and I love how the Escort turned out in the end. Very cool. Not a fan of Phil Glenister though.
  4. With that £1000 budget Kev are you just doing the exhaust system or hoping to do the Cats as well at the same time? The Invidia Gemini exhaust system I have is available for £848 odd from Tarmac Sportz; http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/Invidia_350Z_GEMINI_ROLLED_STAINLESS_STEEL_TIPS_CAT-BACK/HS02N3ZGIS_.aspx The Ark system is a little over £1000 at £1076 odd from the same seller; http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_ARK_Grip_Exhaust_Burnt_Tip/SM0900-0030G-_.aspx If you wanted HFC's at the same time then you'd need about an extra £415 odd on top.
  5. Basically identical to the one I have.
  6. Kev imo exhausts are very personal taste things. What one person loves the sound of another will hate and the same goes for looks. Most importantly what's your budget? If it's only a few hundred pounds or so then there is no point in any of us saying get the Ark system or Invidia as they will be hugely out of your budget. Personally I have gone for an Invidia Gemini exhaust system on my 350z as the stainless steel rear pipes are fairly OEM looking although slightly bigger, it's a true dual exhaust system and the sound is increased although still fairly moderate compared to the likes of a K1 system. It's also extremely good quality and paired together with the Berks HFC's (High Flow Cats) I have gives a good gain on power & sounds even better.
  7. Got to fund my Supercharger savings account somehow Vlad. Nah only joking, I'm not the seller.
  8. I've used Horsham Developments before and they can supply you a gearbox oil (use's the correct Nissan Oil) & Moly Slip together for £54 odd: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=25501&osCsid=rkft82ooolak8pgg3dbipide94 Also they do service packs so it might work out better getting it all from one place; http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index.php?cPath=78_169_293&osCsid=sol8i470helfnumqcla2e20vf3 Although other traders are available (CS/Tarmac Sportz/Clark Motorsport etc) so it's up to you to shop around. It is important though to use the correct coolant from what I've read so make sure it's Nissan imo & I wouldn't mix two different types/brands.
  9. Happy Easter everyone. I did get some Easter eggs which tbh feels a little weird at 34 years old. Still going to eat them though.
  10. Isn't that a picture from DoogyRevs signature ? Could be?!
  11. Whenever I see a learner no matter how annoying they're being I just always try and think that I was them once so just let them get on with it. Should of got your young lad to grab a picture on his phone of this 4x4 tough guy ioneabee so we could all have a good laugh at him. Don't let it spoil your day though.
  12. Happy days. It's a great piece of kit and very solidly built. The difference is unreal compared to how my old Halfords/karcher snow foam guns used to work. Let us know how you get on.
  13. I think I can help with that. Have a read of this (eBay link is in the thread for the snow foam gun I used); http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/84321-what-a-difference-a-snow-foam-gun-can-make/
  14. My Dads had a few TVR's but that was back when they where newer and also different models to the one you're looking at. No help I know. Did you see the 240Z with a TVR engine for sale on Pistonheads though that was posted on here? Now there's a car I'd love.
  15. I bought a Karcher K2 compact the other week. Very good so far and at £69.99 on a Halfords offer couldn't complain. Plus if you want to clean decking then you can get the same unit with a deck cleaning accessory for £99 at Halfords. Link: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_922509_langId_-1_categoryId_255231
  16. +1 and don't stand too close. Worth noting as well that as the coupe and roadster are pillar-less (no window pillars) you should always be cautious when pressure jet washing the car in those areas. Far too easy to blow water in past the seals especially with +110bar or whatever most common pressure jet washers are nowadays.
  17. Also when did women start drawing their eyebrows on with Sharpie marker pens?
  18. Welcome aboard Edd, the Zed looks very cool btw. If you do need to replace the standard Cats then I'd highly recommend you consider some Berks HFC's (High Flow Cats). You can get them from traders on here for probably the best prices around especially if you get them on a group buy. Try looking at the Cougar Store or Tarmac Sportz in the traders section. Also if the exhaust is kaput then maybe you could do the whole lot in one go as I did. Makes such a difference to the sound of the car and as mostly all after market exhausts are stainless steel there is no need to worry about corrosion issues. CS: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/94-cougar-store/ http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee Tarmac Sportz: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/146-tarmac-sportz/ http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/nissan-350z.aspx Also might be worth a PM to CS about the knocking noise as Mitz is a garage trader based in Leicester so knows his stuff.
  19. Definitely. Honestly though I don't think she'd be a good mother and I'd hate to think of the life that child might have to lead with her as a role model. So sad. One vile self absorbed woman. It says she's already a mum to 2 kiddies. Poor kids never stand a chance. Didn't read that bit! Poor kids. Hopefully they will see her for the fame hungry prostitute that she is and leave home to start a better life for themselves just as soon as they're able.
  20. Welcome aboard Adam firstly. Selecting second gear from first as mentioned is a common issue but gets better once the car/box is nicely warmed up ~ also a gearbox oil change with some added moly slip additive can ease this a little I found. As for the power, well can't really say for sure about the one you drove but the 350 is a deceptively quick car. It has great low down torque and is an N/a so it won't shove you back in your seat like a turbo car might but still gets up to speed quickly. Don't get what you're on about though with not holding their value? ..and are sought after for being poor?!! I mean 350's are obviously getting cheaper nowadays and are great bargains for what you get for the cash but imo are still relatively expensive cars. Lot's of similarly aged performance motors and newer motors that can be had for a lot less cash than a 350?! maybe that's just my stand point.
  21. Front splitter. I was going to say a rear diffuser but I haven't seen any of them yet that I'd really be happy with on my Zed tbh so couldn't recommend one.
  22. Definitely. Honestly though I don't think she'd be a good mother and I'd hate to think of the life that child might have to lead with her as a role model. So sad. One vile self absorbed woman.
