  1. Very nice addisj and good colour choice.
  2. ^^ What he said. I have DS2500 pads on my Zed and tbh I think they're great. Much better than the pads I had before (standard OEMs) although as Dave mentioned occasionally they can whistle/squeel but it's not a problem.
  3. Maybe?! Haven't got a build thread ~ might end up doing one at some point though and just back date all my pictures. At least people won't have to wait for updates then. Glad that info helped.
  4. This has kept me entertained for the last hour or so. Just re-reading everything for research. I have concluded I will never fit a supercharger myself. Very satisfying I'll bet but what a PITA at times.
  5. Hi jumping350 ~ been doing some more research in case you're interested regarding the oil catch can set up. I've bought a Rutland oil catch can which is a very compact unit and previously tested by a few S/c Zed owners. Link; http://oilcatchtank.com/ Test thread link; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/58175-oil-catch-can-tested-and-proven/ From what I've found out the only problem you may get with this oil catch can is that under under boost pressure the bottom seal where you drain the oil can leak. The way around this apparently is to seal it off (super glue or expoxy as I plan on using). You can unscrew the glass/perspex see through tube to empty any collected oil so that's no problem. Also from the Vortech reliability thread it is recommended that you use a non return valve between the plenum and oil catch can in order to stop boost from your plenum going back to your crankcase. Non return valve I've bought; http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/nylon-non-return-valve-10mm Hope that helps.
  6. It's 1820kg or around 275kg of 'baggage'. According to this site 25L of garden soil weights 13kg, so 36 bags is equal to 468kg which is way over the limit. Not sure how it affects the car, but it sure is a good way of lowering it! Over working the engine, stopping distances massively increased, suspension bottoming out, increased body roll etc...
  7. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/49893-unnamed-stailness-exhaust-ebay/ http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?showtopic=36103 They seem to be a bit hit & miss with some people being very happy & others being extremely disappointed. You don't get that when buying brands like Cobra, Milltek, Invidia and the like. I remember when I was on CTRO (Civic Type R Owners forum) and a few members on there bought Toyosports exhausts which they had terrible problems fitting or couldn't get them fitted at all. Personally I wouldn't touch any Toyosports products.
  8. Can't believe you let him have the Zed Dean. You're lucky the mods haven't found out about this or you'd be getting your first warning points or even a ban. Glad you got the Zed back ok.
  9. Take a look at this thread; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/79892-mrs-got-an-idea-of-how-unpractical-the-zed-is-with-a-7/
  10. Oh right so it was a while ago. Still very nasty and glad that you're still with us. I remember watching a "Traffic Cops" episode a while ago where a young woman in her car was killed after a lorry driver using his mobile plowed into stationary traffic. Never worth the risk of using your phone whilst driving imo.
  11. Just noticed your post ZEUS. Glad your alive after that, ..but sorry to read that it's obviously going to be a long recovery. Get well soon bud.
  12. +1. Selfish stupid f**kers if you ask me. Why don't people just stop to take a phone call or make a text. Worst I saw was some stupid young girl texting whilst driving. Someone I know stopped a few weeks ago to take a call, they pulled in a layby, a police car pulled in behind them while they were on the phone They were then told it was illegal to use the phone with the engine running and fined them ! Yeah I've heard that too. Supposed to turn the engine off but personally I think thats OTT especially if you are obviously pulled off the road safely using your phone whilst stopped. Not that I'd try to argue that with the Police.
  13. Very cool chirag and some good progress made in a short space of time ~ just like me with mine. Ain't Zeditus fun.
  14. Imo a lot of these people that make custom exhausts aren't specialists ~ they just know how to weld two bits of pipe together and make them fit under the car. If it was me I would rather get an Ark system or Invidia etc etc where I know proper R&D has gone into it. Doesn't bother me about having something different from someone else or the same as everyone as long as I enjoy it.
  15. Did you even read the posts above Haydn?
  16. What did you do then? Think what I'll do then is epoxy the bottom closed on mine when I get it so that nothing can escape through the bottom. Should be a good little OCC then.
  17. Great stance on your Zed and those pictures look fantastic. You definitely need to enter those for next years calendar.
  18. Ah cool sounds good! I'd though about doing the LED's. Looked at guides etc but can't decide. Difficult job? Its not a difficult job if you have a steady hand and can use a soldering iron properly. Im an electronics engineer so was an easy job. Can you do call outs?
