^^ It's not a bad price especially if you can knock the guy down to £4K leaving you a grand to fix up some of the bits (£300-£400 for four alloys refurbed, painted wing £250-£300 odd at a guess) but still if you can stretch to more then I would as you could be, just like Bradders found out, opening yourself up to more expensive bills in the future. Having said that though if it has a good service history with it then I wouldn't let the mileage put you off necessarily. Personally I'd rather spend some money on going to see that one in Scotland first. I'd definitely at the least be ringing him up to ask him what service history he has and any more info on the car (like what fuel does he use/tyre condition/clutch changed? etc).

I get what you're saying but honestly they look sh*te. I've been to a fair few car shows in my time and I wouldn't even give some of those cars a second look. They don't look good, ..they just look broken! Like the suspension has collapsed imo. Like so; ^^ Nice colour, some subtle mods (like spoiler removed & added rear window spoiler) but then ruined by the fact that it looks like the suspension has collapsed and the tyres don't fit the alloys. This is what I'd say was a good "show" 350Z below... But everyone likes different things I just happen to agree with a few of the others in the fact that we think these cars that are scraping their undercarriage along the ground with over stretched tyre's look retarded ~ whether it's for a show or not.

No reference of clutch change, its had the fan and timing belts done but no clutch. Possibly means the A/C belt and Ancillary belt (£25-£30 for both belts) as the Zed doesn't have a timing belt. It has a chain. ^^ I agree with you on that for definite mikejbry. Bl**dy undriveable cars for the most part which are entirely retarded.

Carbon fibre cooling panel looks good ~ really like those ones as they have the indents for where the bonnet goes (near the bonnet release). Those little clips always cause me problems too. I get mine from eBay as they are about £4 for 20 on there.

Thanks for that. The alloys are 19" Rota Grids in Steel Grey and my exhaust system is an Invidia Gemini in stainless steel. Western Avenue is really my local Tesco's but I wanted a bit of a drive down the A470 that day as the weather was so good so went to Upper Boat instead. Not much further tbh but get to go above 60mph that way rather than tootle through the 40's/30's on my way to Western Ave.

^^ Glad your family are safe but that sucks about your friends family ~ we have no idea nowadays what that must be like here in the UK to have a war zone on your doorstep. Very lucky really.
