  1. Look's really nice but honestly what's the point unless you're some type of professional racer/cyclist at National competition level? I mean no matter what bike you buy they are all powered by the same thing, the rider. Yes lighter materials, better gears etc all make it easier for today's riders but then isn't that partly against what a lot of cyclist are trying to achieve which is good physical health. Personally I have a Raleigh Mantis from 1992/93 and that'll do me just as good as any of these OTT bikes. Haven't used it properly in over 19 years though now. Cars are much more enjoyable imo.
  2. ^^ I laughed a little to coldel so don't feel too guilty. My soon to be ex-boss in work has a carbon fibre framed mountain bike ~ cost him £3.5k. He only uses it to cycle the 2-3 miles to work each day. Honestly he must be mental in the head. I mean I know we all drive performance cars that we rarely get to use at there full potential but at least most of us do at times, whether on track days or autobahns, use them to full potential whereas he's just got some mental high spec bike that he tootles along to work on. Might as well have bought a £100 second hand Raleigh bike for all he does on it.
  3. ^ Definitely agree there.
  4. ^^ Fair enough, probably the best idea to get the FRS sorted first, ...look forward to seeing more progress. Kudos.
  5. It's easy to criticize someones driving when you have hindsight, ...but I just thought if he had pulled the car straight from the drift he could have just driven around it like the S14 did rather than slide backwards into the other car. Anyway as I said it's different when you're in that situation with mere tenths of seconds to make a choice. Didn't look like too hard a hit so I'm sure they'll get it all up & in ship shape fashion soon.
  6. Do you think it will fit on the firewall/bulkhead like this guys?...
  7. Great work Chris. That was one of my concerns with the oil catch can about where it's location would be. I've got the Rutlands catch can so it's tiny in comparison and fits easily next to the P/S tank. Keep it up.
  8. Poor 350Z, ...but not great skills there.
  9. im impressed you didnt crash and burn they way some memebers go on about tyres Haven't checked it they have put the right tyres on the right wheels yet,,!!! Maybe the 245 are on the 8 J and the 225 are on the 8.5 J..Who knows..!!! :scare: FFS. Definitely check the 245's are on tthe 8.5J's and then carefully make your point about how f**ked up it is ~ not sure if you could "white lie" and get away with it saying they caused you to damage your alloy?! Total muppets though by the sounds of it Will.
  10. Zed of course. What's the point in paying a years tax/insurance/MOT etc only to use the Zed on the weekend. Doesn't make sense to me plus works only a few miles from where I live which helps.
  11. I'm sure you know this Will but just in case Rays alloys are different. E.g Front 18"x 8" and Rear 18"x 8.5" So the 245's should be fitted on the wider 8.5J alloys. Have the tyre place put the 245's on the front then after all? that's pretty stupid of them. Ah ! I thought all rays were just 18" but the rear tyres were wider..?? Nope the alloy is half inch wider on the rear I'm afraid. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/78633-stock-alloys-rays-tyres-and-other-daft-questions/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/54670-rays-alloys/ Should say the size on the inside hub on the alloy according to someone in one of the threads above.

  13. Awesome performance which was very impressive but why, oh god why, did they ruin that interior with all that real/faux wood?!! Looks like the back end of a Yacht.
  14. Flipping hell, ....how drunk where you? Glad you found them though.
  15. I was wondering that too? Hope you haven't put the 245's on the front Will. Did grundy help you fit them? Seriously though that sucks Will. I'd be pi**ed off to the max. You haven't had those alloys long either so hope it doesn't cost you too much to get sorted.
  16. Cheers! So no need for 30 profile rears? There was talk running lower if the rear is wider... No need for it at all imo. Mitz suggested my tyre sizes and they run great on my Zed without causing any issues with the traction control or anything.
  17. Some good info for you here; http://www.raceandroad.com/technical-help/alloy-wheel-offset.html
  18. Just fyi in case it helps; I'm running Rota Grids ~ Front: 245/35/19 - 9.5J - ET20 Rear: 275/35/19 - 10.5J - ET20 All supplied by Mitz and all fitting on my 2003 Zed with no rubbing issues/fitment issues at all.
  19. you may laugh at the ghetto way but ive had 2 car personally and a few friends cars done this way and in this weather is perfect only difference is we used a breaker bar not a bat It is definitely doable...
  20. If only they would or if only we could punish them for when they don't obey them.
