  1. You don't agree a price and then accept a shoddy job, the price agreed is for a professional job. However, if it had been me I think I would have walked away the moment he said the old spoiler won't come off "mark free", or at very least asked for and explanation and cost for correction. The fact that you bought a replica spoiler in no way excuses shoddy workmanship which t sounds as if you may have. I had a replica Nismo spoiler fitted to my car last year and the overall finish was blemish free and certainly no cracks of scratches, it sounds to me as if someone not fully skilled or who couldn't be bothered worked on your vehicle. If it is as you say then they should correct the errors at their cost.
  2. Good find BM, just fitted mine, works really well
  3. No problem, it'll cost you some real Scottish "water" though Will you do mine first then At least we know that one thing they are not short of in Scotland.................water
  4. This is info for Post Hoon but didn't really want to start another thread. For those travelling on to Ullapool, I've just been in touch with the B&B and they've confirmed they'll provide a hose for car washing
  5. Touched my front nearside up in two places about 2 months ago and still all good, maybe I don't brake as hard as you I would agree with this except for one thing, brake linings burn at about 200.c does Humbrol model paint cover this range?

  11. No worries, not a problem, it's all sorted now It was my mistake - having previously spoken to Alex he had suggested eating before the track session and I spotted a £29 deal at Bathgate at the time, that I am sure was not being offered at the time for the Dunfermline Premier, so I grabbed that not thinking of eating afterwards and then posted my find to others With everything else I did not put brain into gear about the timing post the track time - sorry
  12. No probs Vik, seems we messed up when we booked Livingstone (Bathgate) hotel, trying to re arrange to Dunfermline Prem Inn.
  13. What ampere/hour rating is it? For example, if it's a 72A/H battery and there is a current drain of 1 amp (which is a lot) then it'll theoretically go fault in 72 hours, I'm with Beavis on this, I'd be looking for a current drain somewhere. Do you have any non standard items fitted that could be causing this? Has it always done this or have you fitted something recently that might cause it?
  14. Andy, Darren, Colin, Ken, you have important PM.
  15. How far is the restaurant from our hotel Vicky?
