There's a black one always parked up in Ulverston and an ginger one around Barrow driven by a guy who drives everywhere like he stole it.

Hi and welcome to the sale of my UK 350Z GT. Firstly I am truly gutted to be letting this car go. I've had it almost 2 years now and absolutely loved it. She has never let me down apart from a flat battery once due to leaving the boot ajar... The reason for selling is that I do a 10 mile each way commute to work, therefore rarely get a chance to warm it up and drive it like it's meant to be driven, the rev needle spends 95% of it's life below 3K. I bought it local from an enthusiast, who after sounding him out via a colleague who also lives next door to him, vouched that he's a complete petrolhead and a sound guy. Like myself he was using it as a daily and was after something more practical. As much as I love it, I'm getting a bit tired of the 2 seats. Put it this way, I was forced to drive my girlfriends Clio 1.4 Dynamique for to a meal the other night as 3 lads were going and I was designated driver... Technical Details: 53 Plate UK GT Model (Rays, Brembo's, Heated Leather, Cruise Control etc) Roughly 71K Miles (just under at the moment) MOT until March 16 6 Speed Manual It's all un-messed with bar the Scorpion exhaust fit by the previous owner and K&N panel filter so plenty of room for tailoring if you wish or just keep standard. Always run on premium fuel and sat on Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's all round (2 good / 1 ok / 1 will need looking at after a few more K) Interior is in good condition with some wear to the drivers seat but no rips. Car drives really well and pulls through the gears nice and strong as it should, only ever let rip once thoroughly warmed up and only very occasionally. All buttons and dials work. 2 keys, V5 and all history present. Service History and Work Carried Out: No major work undertaken on the car, only maintenance. I'm assuming it's on the original clutch as I can't find a receipt. No worries from there. I thought it would need doing when I purchased the car but it's held strong and some forum members have seen 100K+ from the original. Bodywork wise, as the car is my daily and 12 years old now, the bodywork is showing signs of age. There is slight corrosion on the offside arches pictured. There's also a few scratches from various car pack knocks etc and also the stone chips on the bumper, however having said that, the car does come up very nice with a wash and wax and the majority of it is really nice, although please don't expect a show car. I would be addressing the rust if I was keeping it. Revs can be a bit fussy when starting from warm, I believe this to be the throttle body needing cleaning. I did do this earlier in the year but then was unable to do the peddle dance re-learn because I am useless. I just live with it and give it a tiny amount of gas after it fires up but sure it will be easy enough to sort. Standard Zed gearbox is a bit cumbersome from cold in low gears (I believe they all are), absolutely fine once going. Please PM me with any questions and I'll be happy to answer. After something more practical than the Zed and not really thought of these. Been looking at M3's etc but reckon this could be a good shout. TDI North in Warrington seems to be the place up North. No personal experience of them but I'm sure many people on here will be along to vouch.

Very cheap. However, you can get a Picanto/Up!/500/Aygo/Micra for the same £108 a month, which then leaves you £80 a month (£70 for the battery and £10 for electric) to buy fuel for it. Assuming they're for local use and no long trips, I reckon financially you could still be better off not going for the EV option. How does the insurance compare with an ICE car? Genuine question, I've no idea. This, although in 10 years time if they're mass producing some kind of "standard fit" batteries, I would probably consider an electric car. Although now it just isn't financially viable or practical for me personally.

Get onto the A65 towards the Lake District in the middle of the night. Perfect road for giving your new toy a (sensible) hoon.

It was an absolutely horrendous crash, surprised how long he fought for. Great young driver that would have gone onto better things and such a loss to the sport.

First taking it out on your car and then sending his wife round with a letter instead of having some balls and apologising face to face himself. And yes, getting the police involved now is the worst idea I've ever heard. I'd just stay out of his way and park further down the street if needs be.

I'm not sure sure about these electric cars yet. Had a look at the Nissan Leaf out of curiosity, as their advertised "2p per mile" sounded like a very good idea for my uneventful commute. What they don't tell you is the battery lease is around £60 per month (not sure if that's still the case) plus then whatever gets lumped onto your electric bill from charging. Apparently the economy in winter is pretty bad too. So some fag packet maths... Say I do my 20mile round trip per day @ an average of 4p per mile, I'm spending £60 on a battery and £16 on electric so a total of £76 a month. Any 2.0 diesel engine or small petrol would only drink about £40-50 per month in fuel. Therefore unless you're doing a hell of a lot of miles to get the value from the battery lease, I can't really see the point.

If you're planning on selling the car on here, a quick search from any potential buyer and they find you're fitting s**t parts on your car, it doesn't look very good? From what I've heard, they'll last exactly that, a few K.

Nice black 370Z was knocking about on Emmerdale a few moths back too. Although the owner got into some financial difficulties with some sinister blokes and therefore had to sell it. Mrs also has the controller in our house....

Almost bought a 300 a few years back, mate put me off as apparently they're a pig to work on? Think I've only ever seen about 2 in the flesh. Might be a good investment. The 200SX prices have gone through the roof in the past few years...

Ha. Owned 3 Golf's in the past. 2 VR6's and a shed of a TDI. Not a fan of them really, they were cheap. Didn't grow the mushroom barnet though!

Although he is driving probably the nicest looking modern car on the road at the moment and we're in reasonably priced Japanese coupes I agree they are gorgeous cars, but, I bet he was gutted he couldnt get away from a "reasonably priced japanese coupe" In his 60k Jaguar I suppose, personally I'd just be cruising around in my F Type giving zero percent about what's around me, purely for the fact that I was sat in an F Type.

Very similar, even the M badged cars etc round here (South Lake District) seem to be fairly responsible. Big VDub scene round here. When you do see someone acting daft it's usually a spotty faced muppet in a Lupo GTI or Ibiza R? (whatever they are).

There will be someone wanting a loud exhaust, get it on the for sale board and the vultures will swoop. I have a Scorpion system. Nice and quiet around town but a nice sound when you get your foot down.

I'd have expected a 325D (with a remap I suppose) to keep up with a Zed on the motorway and for you to lose him on the twisty stuff. Zed seems to be no match for these Bimmers and Audi's nowadays.

71K and still going. Thought when I bought it 2yrs ago the bite point was a bit high, so budgeted for a replacement. No signs of needing it yet though.

Also running Y pipe back Scorpion. Have a straight through single box on my classic Mini which is ridiculously loud. Nice compromise as others have said... Quiet around town at low revs but a nice tone, not too "dirty" like some others I hear, when you give it the beans.
