We are seeing more and more VQ35's now needing new rocker cover plug tube seals as they are leaking oil down onto the plugs. If you go to change the plugs and they are covered in oil this is what it is likely to be. Quite a common thing these days as rubber gaskets become aged they perish and then the rockers don't seal to the heads properly and the oil passes through leaking onto the engine and the manifolds. First place to check is the rocker cover gaskets and replace if needed. As you say you don't know if he had something in the car that he could attack you with, I think there is genuinely people on the road that drive in that manner in order to get a rise or fight out of other people. I used to get angry but now just bite my tongue, I don't think its worth the aggravation.

Having annoying issues with squealing brakes for your Zed?
