Dan's MR2 mk3 trackpig thread (deposit taken)
Ewen@Clark Motorsport replied to Ekona's topic in Other Cars
Nice one thanks. I'll look for some good ridge hoses. I've seen HEL ones on camskill website, but not goodridge. Strut brace is a good idea, I'll do that too. Well that's not too bad £150! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I can supply a set of Hose Technik hoses for £70 -

Good man! Just make sure the brake fluids not years old and go for it, that way you can go through what needs changed/improved after you've done a track day and not waste money unnecessarily -

Cheers mate! Well I've known Ewen and dealt with Clark for some time. now They really are good guys and I am really made up to work along side them and help out with business and the 350Z forum!! You really do have a good forum here and hope I can help you guys out also! My experience started working alongside Andy Middlehurst from the early days (spotty teenager) and eventually became parts manager for both Nissan parts and shipping various GTR parts throughout the country. Importing Nismo from Japan and the likes of AP Racing, HKS Tein etc,,, A spell down South saw me with the good guys at Abbey, Tony and Mark I really have a lot of time for and will be working closely with them as Mark has become (with good reason) one of the leading tuners and main technical man for the Z's! Then I spent a long time with the boys at RB Motorsport tuning servicing and re-building the GTR's. Importing huge amounts of Nissan, Nismo and Tomei parts from Japan. Also Trust/Greddy and OS Giken delivering mail order to UK Europe and more. I was known to be able to obtain almost any part from Japan with my contacts, So I hope to help alongside Ewen and the Clark Motorsport team develop the business here on the 350Z forum. Look out for some New products I will be introducing, also seeing some more Nismo and Tomei products here! And anything big or small regarding Nissan I will do my best to help

Dual mass flywheel VQ35DE
Ewen@Clark Motorsport replied to Ewen@Clark Motorsport's topic in Clark Motorsport
As Paddy says Single Mass Flywheel, this is quite a common modification to carry out and is less complex than a Dual Mass Flywheel -

Spongy pedal? We keep the Hose Technik Stainless steel braided hose for the VQ35DE. Combine this with an uprated fluid like Motul RBF 600 can really improve the pedal feel. We list this at £22.50. We can also offer a hose soloution for the 350Z HR and 370Z, see 10th post down PM if you need to order or buy on-line: http://www.clarkmoto...--Silver/112918

If you have ever suffered with a sloppy clutch pedal on a hot day (not this month anyway!) or after spirited driving you may have experienced a rather annoying sloppy clutch pedal, at CMS we have a solution to this! We have a kit which includes: Genuine New Nissan clutch slave cylinder Custom made braided line Motul RBF 600 clutch fluid We do a kit price of £119.95 Inc Vat and delivery Cylinders wear out as the seals become weak and the fluid doesn't help. Using the Motul uprated fluid and the braided line gives a much better feel and will cope with heat. If you would like order this kit please contact us directly and we will get it to you next day!

The pivot balls can be a weak point on a higher mileage car, as Jixa says would be worth having it checked. For an OEM clutch setup a Nissan replacement is fine but if running an uprated clutch an uprated pivot ball is worth fitting, we stock both.

If you are fitting your own clutch you will need (unless you have a spare input shaft) the clutch alignment tool to align the splines of the input shaft the the drive plate. These are made from plastic and a handy tool when fitting your clutch. PM us to order this part or you can go directly to our on-line shop in the link bellow: http://www.clarkmoto...ent-Tool/112915

Again common MOT failure and day to day wear and tear on the compression arms wears down these oil filled bushes causing play in the compression arms. The rubber perishes and the oil seeps out, if so its time to change the bush. Easily removed (with a press) we keep them on the shelf and can get them to you next day! They are £29.99 each Inc Vat Nissan UK will only supply the full arm @ over £295 and all is needed is the bush! So give get in touch if you are needing some! If you are needing the bushes PM us or you can buy direct from the site at the following link: http://www.clarkmoto...ush/54570-AC70A If your compression arm ball joints are worn then you will need new compression arms, we supply the genuine OEM Nissan arms for £250 per side, they can be found here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/79145-genuine-nissan-compression-arms-350z-250-per-side/
