  1. Probs me, stay tuned over the next few months.
  2. Glad you like it man! Yeah the door cards were meant to divide opinion, I'm a comic book geek so the Japanese Anime was right up my street. Not too sure if there are any cars that have gone to the extremes I have with the hydrodipping and it should put me in a good position for next year! This was the door cards fresh put of the dippers!
  3. Deffo bro! Been a while since I've been out to be fair. Would be good to have a catch up!
  4. Had to edit it as I hit post too soon!
  5. Alreet me bonny bairns! Been a long time since I was last on here and there have been some huge changes in my life (the reason I disappeared) and huge changes to the car (as a result of the life changes!) My life tipped on it's head in March 2014 and I disappeared from all of my social media and forum activities for a while whilst I tried to come to terms with where my life was headed. All projects on the car kind of got put on hold in September 2013 apart from a set of HKS Hipermax RS coilovers and when March 2014 came I went off the radar. Took me about a month of moping about and feeling a bit sorry for myself before I turned my focus back to the car and to be fair if it wasn't for the projects that followed and the resulting madness that you are about to be subjected to then I have no idea if i'd be here at all, OV53 saved me! So let's get started from where I left off..... I have had the full car resprayed by Falcon Performance and all rust and dings sorted. I had the door handles and zed badge at the back as well as the mouth of my Nismo V1 front bumper all finished in satin black too. About 5 days after this another member who is a good mate told me he was selling his bonnet, a Varis carbon number to be exact! Well with the direction I am taking the car it would have been rude not to get it, even if I did have a freshly painted standard bonnet! Once this was done it was time to get the car prepared for our show that we organised at Croft Circuit in September 2014. So we set about stripping every interior panel apart from the dash to send off to Hydromonkeys for hydrodipping. While this was getting done I left the car with Monty at BassMechanix to do a monster custom install that would perfectly reflect who I am and also do something that you won't see in many, if any, cars at the minute. I then took off to New York for 3 weeks to get away from the madness at home and settle my brain. While I was there I picked up an AEM cold air intake, however upon realising that I need to do alot more work than originally thought I just installed it as a short ram intake due to time constraints. So then it was time to pick up all of my interior from the dippers, 2 days before the show! This was my living room while I awaited the nod from Monty at BassMechanix. 24 hours later it was time to get cracking with the knacking! The things that were letting the car down though were the gear knob, the interior lights, the headlight and the seats.....so we sorted that out with some Sparco EVO2 seats and 32 blue LEDs in the dome lights. A "dildo" shifter And HIDs with LED sidelights Oh yeah and the piece de resistance was the install...... With 2 Hertz HX250 10" subs, a set of Rockford Fosgate SQ competition components and two Rockford Fosgate amps powering it all, Monty has made the car properly bounce! It has been trimmed in Alcantara, the sub enclosure is a completely custom tubular creation which allows the cabin to become the box, we had a custom plexiglass plaque made up which says BassMechanix loves Pacman (me) and it lights up just the engraving with remote changing LEDs. The bass is both punchy and deep. Monty is an absolute genius when it comes to achieving the sound you want as well as innovative creations aesthetically. Overall I'm absolutely over the moon with my achievements this year but it is in no way finished, now for the performance upgrades and we can see where things get to come show season! Be nice to hear what you all have to say!
  6. Alreet! Would anybody be interested in a stand pass and 2 track sessions. I'm probably not going to make it. Cheers Phil
  7. Might be the gauge of power cable mate. Looks as if the amp is going into protect mode and it may be down to the cable being too lightweight. I would take it to Plush and just ask them to do a check for you.
  8. Alreet! Just an update for you guys, I've had to put things on hold as my wife dropped the news last week that she isn't sure whether she wants to be with me. I'm sure you guys will understand that my head isn't right at the moment and I need to put all of my effort into making things right. Give me a few weeks and I will see where I'm at but at present I can't focus on anything but this. Cheers guys
  9. Flashed and received a wave back from a female Azure driver who was heading towards the Tyne a Tunnel from Wallsend. Anybody on here?
  10. Yeah sold to me awaiting payment but then accepts another offer from someone else whilst I'm sorting out transferring the money to his foreign bank account. Whopper
  11. Ha ha, can't decide if you like it then? 😄 Utter cack! Plus Sunderland have just let a third goal in so it's even worse now.....
  12. If you have no luck then you can always buy the Operation Flatpack sub box from me (available for sale by the end of the week)
  13. Parked up next to the burger van but no owner in sight. Had massive black alloys on and a Nismo V1 replica front end by the looks of things.
  14. I love a bit of Highland Park like, although admittedly this sprang to mind upon reading the title!
  15. Ah badness! Best to stick with the SS Convertible then. I would love to rent the Hertz edition Mustang like, it's meant to be an absolute monster!
  16. We're getting an SS convertible this time round. Had a Mustang GT and a Corvette last time. Try to make the engine management light come on after 10 days and take the car in late on the afternoon. Good chances are that there will be no equivalent replacements and they have to upgrade you....in our case it was the Corvette.
  17. I hope you put it on each way......
  18. Oh yeah! And new brake pads, brake fluid and braided lines. Getting close to squealy brake time......
  19. Slow, methodical, right....is the mindset required in order to successfully do it nice, or else you'll do it twice!
