Ahh thats good news! Its because my car only has 13,000km on it and the exhaust still looks brand new! So il replace it when its falling to pieces or something, just feels like im wasting money sometimes if i go replace stuff that is fine.

' *40 Inch-lbs in the numerical order shown on the following page. Then torque all the bolts to *80 Inch-lbs. Then re-torque bolts to *100 Inch-lbs ' Could i not skip out the 40 inch-lbs and just lightly hand tighten first then start at 80inch-lbs then retorque 100 inch-lbs?

Hey trying to remove the oem knob its turn anti-clockwise? Correct? Its one stiff knob cant seem to budge it..issit really necessary to put a clamp on the bottom of shaft? Will i damage anything if i twist it too hard cause the shifter feels like its twisting!? Oh also issit better to have it in/out of gear to remove? Saskhi

iv just read the motordyne manual and its said 40inchlb then 80inchlb then 100inchlb, what is that in Nm i had a look at the harlfords one and i think it only goes to 6-45lbft/8-60Nm is lbft the same as inchlb? just found this.. *Note: To convert inch-pounds to foot-pounds, simply divide by 12 inches to convert to feet. Its been a long time since iv done any maths: am i correct in assuming 100inchlb / 12 = 8.33 therefore the harlfords 6-45lbft/ 8-60Nm would be ideal?
