  1. Thanks. I'll get that checked. If that's what it turns out to be, is there an uprated version to fit, or is it oem?
  2. No problem. I understand your logic Do you think it could be the clicky driveshaft?
  3. I tightened the bolts up in sequence to 108nm on the spacer bolts and then the wheel lug bolts. I didnt say the noise has only appeared after doing this. As for the clicky driveshafts, I had assumed that the clicks only happen when changing from forward to reverse and vice versa. I have just read that some people also get the clicking whilst driving along, so it could still be related to that I guess.
  4. Yes, exactly that. I thought it was just commonly known as 'Clicky Axle'
  5. To fit my spacers I have checked everything is still torqued up correctly.
  6. Yes please. I have been planning on getting one of these
  7. I guess you could do the iPod bose hack and then plug one of these in to get Bluetooth A2DP music http://www.amazon.co.uk/eSynic®-Bluetooth-Receiver-Adapter-Smartphone/dp/B00EAEWA82
  8. Now, I know that my car suffers from the common clicky axles, which I will fix when I get chance and its dry outside, but this is a different noise. This is the second time I've noticed it now. I get a constant clicking noise from the rear when driving round a roundabout. Once I have straightened up again, the noise has gone. I'm thinking it must be suspension related as it happens when the weight transfers to the left hand side of the car. I didn't notice anything obvious when I had the wheels off the other weekend. Any ideas?
  9. Thanks for the offer Dicky I did go for a walk around as soon as I noticed it. No sign of any marks on any of the other cars. I suspect it was just a visitor that just drove off without a care in the world.
  10. I have just got back from having a quote done at a body repair shop nearby. I have been quoted £318. Just wondering what you guys think about that quote. Too high, about right? Photos of the damage below.

  12. What could cause this? Cleaning the sensors?
  13. Ignition off, Philips screwdriver, take out the two screws, pull out the MAF, don't disconnect it, spray the sensing wires through the holes with carb cleaner or electrical cleaner, put it back Don't rub it with anything, just let the spray to do the work. And it won't necessarily look dirty, but it will be Cheers Joe. I'll give that a go tomorrow lunchtime at work, if it's dry
  14. Well timed. I noticed mine was pausing at 1500 revs tonight. Off to look for a 'how to' now
  15. Cheers Humpy. I hope so too.
  16. Good work Darren I don't envy your tasks ahead but if that dash is anything to go by, then you'll do a brilliant job of the rest.
  17. In 25 years of driving, I have never scraped any body else's car. Hopefully it won't cost me too much to sort it out.
  18. Got up this morning and went out to my car, only to find that some stupid #*~$€ has reversed out of the parking space next to mine, on full lock, and scraped the rear wheel arch of my pride and joy. Mad and angry is an understatement, but I can't do anything to change it. I don't even know who did it, as they had driven off with not a care in the world. I'll have to make a few phone calls to dent specialists now.
  19. Somebody on here had this very fault the other day. Checked mine and both rotate the same direction
  20. It's one of those 'Drive like a girl' boxes

    Paisley wheels?

Known about this for years, but it never ceases to amaze me. Pure magic
  22. Bummer. Really appreciate you looking for it though. I might still be after it if I have no luck with my other irons in the fire so to speak. Will let you know. Thanks. You could get that one chrome plasti-dipped couldn't you?
  23. Wish you were closer. I'd pop in and say hello and see what you guys get up to
