Thought I would post up about an event that I am going to on Saturday. It looks to me like it should be good and although it is leaned towards the petrolhead I think it should be good in its overal entertainment value for all the family and its free. I have all the companies I work for - registered with TPS. The only problem is you have to renew it annually. It does work well reducing massively the volume of calls. Any that do still get through -just tell them you are with TPS an they will hang up. I now tell them this whether registered with TPS or not.

Andy - I am only 5 minutes into the video. Agree, excellent positioning, great camera work. Fantastic work - thank you. Pics of my car ........and it sounds great - fantastic stuff. It's really nice to hear the sounds of them - especially under throttle. Now if only I could spend every weekend like that !!

Twobears - I did not read the Mouthwash thread that way at all. I am sure he will be sorry you did. Anyway back to thread - Own and drive whatever you want. As said before, you are never to old. Enjoy life, its all over far too quickly. I for sure already know I do not have enough time left to do all the things I would like to achieve. Yes, my list is mightly long !!!!

That was one seriously good weekend. I am so glad I took last week off work to nurse my back so I could make it. Rob (Mudman) - A big thank you, well organised. I know its alot of work. It was nice we had an adult in the mix to oversee us all and keep us in check - well the others - not me of course . Thanks Andy ! Dave (davedutch) - What your wife was not aware of - was the radio's we had between several cars !!! These overtakes could not have been done without them and the building of trust in the others who had them too. Even then all of us had to reassured over and over. I really think every person in a convoy should have them - they make a huge difference for my enjoyment anyway. I am sure the others around me were worse anyway- Did you see the Paul & Ryan antics, and Bradders ?? !!! Infact even you - Nutters the lot of you ?? !! I loved the drive outs. Arthur - excellent leading from my part, top man for taking that role. I really appreciated the extra stops we made so I could stretch out. I too felt I have made some good new friends this weekend. I was a little anxious to turn up alone, so nice that everyone was so welcoming. Look forward to catching up with you all again soon. Off to look at The Lakes weekend now...........

It rained all day yesterday here in North Oxfordshire, after 3 days of sun, so was getting concerned, but weather looks great for the weekend. Best get packing - leaving in a few hours !!!!!!!!! :yahoo:

Well, this thread made me get my wheels all aligned - while off work with a bad back this week - as you do !!!! They were out slightly and a small amount of wear was showing on the outer of the rears. Thanks guys, car is ready for Wales now !!

Not a badger but a muntjac deer in my Corrado. Sounds like I was lucky too. Took out the headlight and damaged the bumper and wing.

So, not happy I have bad back - Walking is fine, just sitting and getting up - hurts like hell, oh plus the odd movements. Really cheesed off, back has been fine for about 2 years and all i did yesterday was get up from a chair and it went. The air was even blue, that bad was the pain, I properly shouted out. I am reckoning, I can take all day Friday to arrive at the Hotel Go out on the drives Saturday and Sunday, peeling off from them if I can't take any more. Then I can leisurely drive back on Monday. I am not cancelling my attendance - I have waited too long to join this one. Oh and I will get to the doctors for some strong painkillers I am booked into Physio tomorrow morning and again Wed evening. Fingers crossed.................. I love being Self Employed at times like these - NOT !!!

It looks like I am going to have to bribe people if I want any of these prizes - Again !!!! Unless others they would like to wash & detail my car - Bad back has just put a stop to that. I had planned in my mind to wash the car on Saturday afternoon !!! Hopefully there will more trophies ................... !!!

If I can drop in on this thread. Where is being suggested for a alignment ? I do trust my local ATS for tyres, taking care etc and know most of these places offer alignment checks. Are they generally thought to be good enough or is it specialist people again and if so who ?
