A good advert on why not to behave like a **** at Ace Cafe
AliveBoy replied to coldel's topic in Off Topic Discussion
you said we seem to specialise in doing it bad place bad time, I was merely meaning that I'd say the freeway outside LA at 4pm is worse than outside ace cafe fairly late into the evening. Not that I'm belittling what the guy in the R33 did, he's a knob and I just wish he hit a concrete pillar instead of someone else's car. -
Ive long said a VQ35 in an S13 would be a superb combination, 1100KG and 310ish HP is what the Zed always should have been. So long as you don't then put the CA18 into the Z, I'd agree (and for the record, I am aware the the CA can be a very reliable, powerful engine if treated properly )

Or "one last try!" or "Hold my beer" I did all that the other week......at a Roller Skating Disco (Don't ask why I was there, lets just say the word Female.) Anyway, I was doing 'Okay' - I can ice skate, but roller skate with 4 wheels is weird!, Anyway, the guy announces can everyone vacate, this is for Exp skaters only, we are doing speed skating. We all got off, 6 people on there, saw a few laps and said to everyone 'F*** this, that looks easy, watch this!, did 1 lap fine, nice and fast, 2nd lap, came out the corner hard, barrel rolled and ended up into the wall with a skate off and the audience pissing them selfs xD May I offer some advice as to why you're single? Not enough roller skating, that's the issue -

Yeah you are right, if someone came on and put a post on here saying he had a play with a 911 in his stock import and it couldnt shake him. They would be slaughtered for 10 pages What, like asking about when to change gear?!

I only noticed it properly after I'd spent a week driving a hire car. I can't imagine how it wheel feel when I fix it this time after a month off from driving it! Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk

It seems people like the ones mentioned above either change their ways very quickly when they join or just leave. The "resident" members (Ekona, Keyser, Bennett, Buster, Wasso, the mods etc etc) are also very level headed and tell someone if what they are saying is clearly made up. I like it to be honest, I very rarely read something and go "yeah, right!" Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk

Weird what different people like about the same car, I love the fact that the clutch and gearbox feel very mechanical

Oh jheeze! Ferrari and Mercedes will both fit titanium blocks to the bottom of their cars in the hope of creating sparks in a move to make the cars more spectacular. It's one of a few changes they hope to introduce for 2015, with glowing brake discs and vapour trails also on the agenda. The FIA has given permission for Ferrari to fit two blocks to Kimi Raikkonen's plank during free practice in Austria this weekend, whilst Nico Rosberg will run them in a different position to see which produces the best effect. No other changes, such as lowering the ride-height or suspension, will be made, with the teams confident placing them in certain positions will create sparks when the cars run over a bumpy surface or during high-speed sections when the downforce pushes the car into the track surface. Their introduction still needs to be ratified by the FIA's World Motor Sport Council, which is meeting in Munich next week. I wonder how they will cause vapour trails?!

FIA are currently deciding if the grid penalty for Perez will remain in place or not. We'll find out after practice what the answer is.

Supposedly the best place to go for an MOT is a council run MOT test centre, they won't fix anything and they don't sell parts or have any affiliates who do so any failures/advisories will be genuine. But if they won't fix anything will they just fail it on the stupidest little things? Like headlight adjustment. Would they bother adjusting it to get it passed or fail you and let you deal with it. they've got no reason to fail it on stupid things. headlights are allowed to be adjusted during the test so I'd imagine something like that they'd do. I've never done it myself as I have a friendly mot centre I use, it's just something which comes up a lot on money saving websites etc

Clutch and Fly And I'm getting married in August so I'm not exactly flush currently Yes! 55mph top speed will be not epic 100psi rear tyres if it has a diff weld it direct drive lol, the tyres only take 15 psi and that's supposed to be only to seat the bead! seeing a man about skimming the flywheel tomorrow -
Just be careful with an ex demo, some companies will lower the warranty to the same as a used car. I also wouldn't mind betting that they will have had a hard life, so make sure you're compensated nicely in the price and with some decent servicing options.
