  1. Probably not what you want to hear but unless you track the car heavily, a bbk is wasted, a std brembo caliper with decent discs and pads will give you more than enough stopping power for fast road or general track days.
  2. Took a drive to see a mate in the countryside today, I was genuinely surprised by the amount of vote leave signs on peoples property, noticeable on farms, obviouly they arent getting the eu subsides note one vote in though.
  3. A set number of cars is no guarantee of how many car will be out on track at any one time on an open pit, afternoon sessions are generally quieter as cars have broken/crashed/driver bored, tired or whatever in my experience.
  4. I am not sure what the budget is but i used to be a boat skipper, we did a charter for jc morgan once, 3 boats and teams and they had a treasure hunt around southampton water and isle of sh*te, they got to go out on some lovely powerboats and have fun, but the team building aspect was there too.
  5. So the answer is, its not been mentioned anywhere, your just trying to fluff up your argument for Britain to stay with scare tactics. I feel absolutely sure EU citizens will be able to stay and work in Britain, they are not all going to be shipped out on the first boat/plane the morning after and dare i say, if the EU citizens dont like it here after, they have a choice
  6. ^^^ Whilst in my other post i suggest people who pay into Britain should have a say, particularly more so than a Britain who doesnt pay in, but do we have a say about what goes on in France, Germany, Poland etc, did we get a vote in the Scottish independence, no it was nothing to do with us? and where does it suggest that those EU citizens will have to leave?
  7. I am not sure I woukd believe saving a few kgs by going carbon, hr bonnet is incredibly light.
  8. No apps that I know of but photoshop will work, if your like me and cant use such things, there a few friendly folk on here who woukd help if you put up an image. If its std rays, the question has been asked and just about every colour has been shopped if you do a search.
  9. I feel your pain, i once spent just over £2k on a colour change, i wanted to be surprised at the end and not see any progress, boy was i surprised, nothing like the swatch on a whole car. Sold the car shortly afterwards, i try now to get a rattle can made up in whatever colour to check a larger area.
  10. Fitting all terrain tyres just in case Yes it is but it seemed better to get that and have options should the opportunity arrive I have to be honest, it was pretty easy, you would have to be a bit of a muppet to fail, mostly common sense in the theory test, apart from knowing the flags and the track drive is just to show you have understanding of racing lines and the environment i.e quicker cars on track, its driven at a steady pace.
  11. Did the ards test today and had a great time and met some really nice people Passed and going to start thinking about doing some sprints etc
  12. Not entirely true, they are not entitled to 100% of the benefits, they can still claim, so a part win but still having to make some concessions.
  13. Maybe this is a valid point, the whole system needs reform, voting, benefits etc and i really dont think we could ever do that whilst we have the eu commission telling us what we can and cant do, what is fair and what isnt, i.e human rights
  14. And to be fair, no one is allowed to say anything about immigrants without being branded a racist, thats just the world we live in. I used to know a girl who had a disabled batch, motobility car scheme, benefits etc, she was a lapdancer who went wakeboarding, airsoft, jetski, horse riding, long story but wasnt immediately obvious or yes I would have grassed. Every year her "disability" was assessed. On the flip side a mates dad had lost a leg in a bike accident, he always worked, never claimed, he had to have the same yearly assessment, every year he walked in, looked down and said, "nope, still not grown back"
  15. Absolutely, shouldnt even be allowed to put pen to paper
  16. I think voting is simple on all fronts, government, eu, scottish independence, whichever, unless you pay into the country, you have zero say of how its run and what it does and yes that does mean non british born paying into the system get a vote.
  17. ^^^ So what has been said by either side that makes you feel your position is in jeopardy if we leave? why should it change?
  18. ^^^^ Oh i thought you were being serious
  19. What exactly is a jet bike?
  20. Spare plugs, spare battery or two, if buying a two stroke plenty of decent two stroke oil and lots of cans of spray lube. Everytime you use it, wash it down with soapy water inside and out and then liberal application of lube over the entire engine. I would probably get a spare impeller too, just incase you suck up a rock/stone etc
  21. No one building a big hp or track/drift zed.....
  22. Great set of track wheels and tyres
  23. On a lake i completely agree, if your on the sea with waves, not at all
  24. A four stroke ski is going to be the most reliable and economic (fuel costs etc), but, way more costly to repair if they go wrong. Sadly anything that lives in the sea and gets beaten to sh*t, which jet skis do, is going to require keeping on top of, i.e regular maintenance, lubing, etc I prefer a good old 2 stroke, if its got fuel and spark it will start, if it doesnt start, its one or the other and servicing is pretty much just a plug change. If the engine dies £800 should see it fully rebuilt on a Seadoo. £3k is a good budget and you should get a very nice ski for that, try to stick with Seadoo or Yamaha but avoid early di Seadoos, the fuel injection systems are massively complex and troubleshooting faults can be very very costly. Any particular questions, fire away.
