Torture is the very minimum he deserved imho, he gave up his claim to have any human rights and thus should be treated as such imho, but that is a completely different subject Hopefully the UK and EU if we remain will work harder to block these types entry and if they do get in, easier exportation, unfortunately as per Mondo says, its emotive subjects like these that prejudice voters decisions, right or wrongly, the gov and eu have made a rod for their own back.

Lets face it, the whole Abu Hamza thing was farcical to the extreme, along with many others who reside here at our expense and preach their hate, you just couldnt make it up its so unbelievable. Sadly i cant blame the EU, i blame the government for letting him (and others like him) in the first place, you wouldnt let a known paedophile babysit your kids now would you All these terror attacks over the last few years are by known terrorists, they are all flagged as such, but for some obscure reason they are allowed to fly around of to training camps etc and allowed back in, talk about making it easy for them.

Aren't customs electronic these days? http://ec.europa.eu/...on/index_en.htm Not according to him if we come out.

^^ A friend of mine runs a European wide distributorship, turnover 40 million, so pretty big. By his calculations due to increased paperwork, customs declarations etc he will have to print 15000 pieces of extra paper a month and an extra 50 hours man hours a month to process it, net result for him 1.5 million in costs. Its not so much about duties and vat etc The reality is, it will never cost him that, he will just buy a warehouse someone in the Eu and distribute from one location outside the UK.

It doesn't mean we wouldn't have, but it does mean we don't have the same pressure to do so. Back in Thatchers day the EU forced Britain to clean up the coastal waters, including by most tourist beaches, which were so full of effluent they were dangerous to human health as well as the effect on sea life. That costs a lot of money and no government wants to saddle themselves or industry with that cost at a difficult time, so we didn't do it. The sea stayed full of sh*t and if you swam in it God help you. It was EU regulation that finally forced Britain to clean up our act. EU regulation forced many Animal welfare changes on Britain too. Oh, and the limit on HGV drivers hours to stop them being exploited and killing themselves (and the rest of us). It's a tiny amount of what the EU has pushed on to us and a lot of people don't like the 'it's for our own good' argument as it is against their idea of national control and democracy, but they are good examples of areas where the government can save money by not implementing regulation, and where they have little incentive to introduce regs of their own. I'm not suggesting the above will be removed by a Leave vote, I'm simply saying that sometimes we do need to be told what to do for the better good and not sulk because we were told to do something rather than decide to do it ourselves. No one is saying there arent positives to the EU, as its obvious there are, but, which leads me nicely onto below... There seems little point being at the table as even if we disagree, which we have, out of 530 odd regs we objected to 480 still got passed. We have nowhere near enough of a voice, which we should have with our contribution.

I understand the uncertainty with leaving Codel, but there is also uncertainty with staying, its changed massively from the common market, which was a good thing, but even the eu as we know it now wont stand still and with the possibility of more dead end countries becoming part of the super state, its a recipe for disaster if you ask me.

Sold to Ilott a member, hopefully he will update with any updates

I have to say i got to completely agree with this, just because we are in the EU doesnt mean we wouldnt have made such regs by ourselves, its almost like people feel Britain on its on is completely retarded and incapable of anything positive. I watched a little of the itv debate, nicola sturgeon just seemed to absolutely despise the opposition and the fact they were in government and made everything so personal it was almost embarrassing, i have to be honest, if that spiteful, poisonous little harridan wants in, makes me think we are much better out.

The bmw looks like someone getting over a cold has just sneezed on it, horrible colour, almost as bad as jewish racing gold. Purple for the win, less is more

Like the sound of anti lag, I know it will upset the purists, but I would think throttle blip on downshifts would be a popular feature.
-
So can someone tell me, why does Nicola Sturgeon want to be independent of Britain but not indepedent of the Eu, being as Britain pretty much has to adopt all Eu policy?

Unless your going forced induction a std clutch will easily handle anything you can reallistically tune a normally aspirated car to. Extreme clutch is a very good one though if your thinking big mods in the future.

Thats the sad thing really, we wouldnt trust the gov or any gov to do it fairly. If they could implement a system based on the average mileage of a uk motorist and the average motorist was paying no more or less than they do on ved it would be a good system.
-
That's the point though, it isn't road tax, it's not money to fix potholes, it's a tax against high emission cars. As enthusiasts it's a pain but personally I think the sooner all 'normal' cars become electric, the better, as long as cars like ours are seen as hobby vehicles with appropriate taxation and limits rather than demonised as a whole. They wont be able to cope with the lost ved, you can be sure at some point they will be charging low or no emission vehicles to fill the void
-
If its emission based, which it is, its actually fair enough, what isnt fair though is its irrelvant how many miles you do.

Thanks Gangzoom, best justification you could put up for spending £500 a year, small price to pay
-
Least I can do for all the advise
-
Well everything moved a bit quicker than expected, have taken a deposit on the 350 and paid a deposit on the one linked above I will be very sad to see the 350 go, i honestly would struggle to fault it (both ones i have owned), they exceeded my expectations and as an added bonus, met some very very good people, dare i say friends Thanks for all the advise on the VX and have decided to put it to proper use and do a couple of events rather than just trackdays, so in the process of booking up to do my national b licence

It really is a struggle to think (on Rx7 at least) that whilst not only are you decimating a gorgeous car, your paying £20k fitted and thats for replica prices and then last one i saw built was adorned with some wheel mania mgm alloys and 75mm spacers

After having just done this I am sure the dvla site said you would not get a new mot certificate but it is valid, chassis number will obviously match. P.s I did it online and they emailed the relevant paperwork instantly.
