That is all i needed to hear Thank you sir. If i end up spending Milltek money i would buy an Invidia Gemini though
  2. I use a leaf blower to get the main water off, gets all the water out of nooks and crannies and then its really easy with a microfibre towel

    HKS Copies

Looking for a dual exhaust and liked the HKS exhaust, as it seems there are only copies around (unless i am extremely patient) so i looked into them. Seems like Japspeed have a bad rep, but noticed a company called TopGear selling them. I bought a custom exhaust from TopGear Stockport for my Rx7, it was very impressive. I contacted TopGear via ebay (main office) and asked if the one listed was a generic clone also sold by Japspeed. They were quite honest and said, they are supplied by a company called CPZ who also supply Japspeed, so, reading between the lines, yes it is the same. However, they are offering a lifetime warranty and guaranteed fitment which is another problem i have seen associated with Japspeed. Thoughts please gents, does anyone have one of these said exhaust, Japspeed or TopGear and how have you found it?

Pretty much all of them I guess the only way of telling is by plugging it in somewhere, i just wondered if there would be some form of sticker on the ecu
  7. There was a guy breaking one in the Netherlands or somewhere like that, he had a kit for sale, the advert is on driftworks and pretty sure it was on here somewhere.

Hi guys and girls. Is there any way to tell if my recent purchase has already been mapped? A buddy of mine came to check the car out as is he familiar with Zeds and he made particular note of it feeling more punchy that most he had driven. Thanks in advance
  9. Always best with ebay to contact the seller and see if they have a price in mind. I have had people get quite chewy when i have ended auctions early, even though it says in the advert, advertised elsewhere so auction may end early. If i see something i want/like will see what price they have in mind and if its good i will buy.
  10. Wow there are some figures being bounded around here. Full colour respray on a normal size car (350) in base and clear would be £2k for a top quality job. You could get it done for £1k if you went 2 pack, both excluding engine bay but does include door and boor shuts. I have had quite a few cars, bikes and jet skis sprayed, the guy who does it has had many a magazine featured car so is no mug. The only benefit i can see to wrap is being able to remove if you are wanting a mad colour and worried about its resale. Bounty Bar Kid, why dont you have to tell dvla of the colour change if its wrap??
  11. Just polished. 3 coats of poor boys wheel sealant and a coat of jet seal 109 over that.
  12. I was enjoying the first decent drive since ownership Some time in the or a zed shed will be on the menu as there are a few little things i want to do for now
  13. Ginger Zed yesterday, looked like a V2 Nismo front, is Buster from the Poole/Bournemouth area? Azure blue heading off the civic centre up to the Shah of Persia today
  14. Pleased they didnt sell now
  15. Photos below, as mentioned above its difficult to get a true representation of the colour, on the front wheel photo you can see the purple being quite light on the spokes, when the sun is on them thats the best representation, they really come alive being a kandy. Very pleased, subtle enough and not too in your face, but bright enough to be different
  16. There is a guide here: http://my350z.com/forum/audio-video-and-electronics-diy/548121-diy-06-base-with-cruise-control-using-uprev-oem-parts.html What is different about the switches Mark?
  17. I will take them buddy, pm your details, paypal etc
  18. +1 for Poor Boys wheel sealant if you have polished lips/wheels, add a couple of coats of jetseal 109 over the top and its wash and dry like the rest of the car
  19. Updated after some confusion of whether pairs or singular.
  20. A question I asked a few times when this topic was raised with regard to rx7's, if you want a v8 why not just buy a car with a v8? There are plenty of options, all shapes and sizes with something for everyone. I personal feel its a very American thing to chuck a v8 into anything and everything as they are two a penny, but over here, it just doesnt make financial sense.
  21. 2nd hand, hence the long shot part
  22. Long shot i know but would like an Invidia Gemini, but possibly interested in other alternatives. Nothing overly loud, needs to be track friendly
  23. How come after going to the trouble of forging the engine you stopped at .5 bar and 463hp, that engine has got be good for bigger hp?
  24. Being new to the 350z world but not tuning and coming from Rx7's it seems common place these days to split items down as you will stand more chance of selling individual items rather than a "package deal", having said that, i would advertise as a package for "x" and list all parts individually that would add up to more, so the package deal is a tempter.
  25. I always forget this bit, lol, collection preferred, delivery not included, i am in Bournemouth although happy to tape together if you want to arrange a courier. £20ish should get any two posted ladies and gents
