  1. First off, this is for my BRZ not a Z. Sorry Zedders. I’ve picked up some unequal length headers to give me a bit more noise and a bit more of a Subaru burble - they’re not the massive job on the BRZ that they are on the Z. They are wrapped for now, but I’m not that keen on keeping them that way as I don’t want moisture, particularly salty winter and coastal moisture, sitting in the wrap. As an alternative I was thinking of getting them ceramic coated but I don’t know much about it. Anyone got things ceramic coated? Was it worth it? Can you recommend somewhere (ideally NW, but anywhere will do)? Are there any drawbacks to ceramic coatings? Thanks gang.
  2. This is probably a stupid question but, do they move in unison or individually in response to some individual sensor feedback? I assume they do move in unison, so if I'm right, then what's the big advantage of 6 moving in unison, over having a plenum where a larger volume of air is throttled by just one TB? Is it just responsiveness?
  3. Same as las year mate. Sorry to hear you don't like the new look, have you tried the default theme? It's a bit more stripped back than this one.
  4. There’s no room for shades of grey @Keyser, its either the panacea or you hate the planet. When you think about, it makes no odds what you drive anyway, once someone has kids nothing will come close to the carbon footprint of one of those
  5. You are right about one thing, there is little point in debating anything with you. I'm pro EV, but have the ability to consider both sides of the argument. You're so blinded by EV devotion, that you can't even concede when you're own numbers don't stack up. If I've read it so wrong, why don't you tell me the TWh values for Oil, Coal and Gas for 2006 and 2017?
  6. I can't tell if you're serious or not. You think the mix % is more important than the absolute values? The graph contains values in TWh for energy production via Coal, Oil & Gas - not percentages. If you take the total fossil values from 11 years ago and then compare them to now, we're using more energy from fossil fuels than before - assuming your numbers are accurate. Whether this represents 50% or 20% of the energy "mix" of production does not change the fact that more energy is being made from fossil fuels than before. If you're going to put up stats to prove your point, you should really understand them first.
  7. I try not to set a hard date, but don’t worry you have plenty of time.
  8. Everything appears to have gone swimmingly. Please get in touch if you experience any issues.
  9. I'm currently waiting on prices from two printers, but initial soundings appear to show that we can ever so slightly improve on last year's prices, whilst hopefully keeping the quality as high as the beauties on your walls and desks right now. 12 Month Wall Calendar - £15.00 delivered* 52 Week Desktop Calendar - £16.00 delivered* One of Each - £23.00 delivered* Please post up below if you're interested in a wall calendar or desk calendar or both. If you're planning on buying multiples of either style, e.g. 2 walls and 3 desks or other combos, PM me for prices. This is just a feeler thread until final prices are confirmed. The surplus from the calendar goes toward the cost of running 350z-uk.com, you're not just getting a great calendar, you're keeping the forum free for members. *Prices will vary until we get the final order numbers.
  10. Evening Everyone As part of ongoing maintenance the forum software will be going through a minor upgrade this evening. This may result in none, some or more of the following symptoms: (1) loss of features (2) slow running (3) complete cessation of service (4) general ill-temperedness (5) incontinence (6) unexpected hair loss Hopefully it will all be fine but just letting you know in case you do experience any issues. I'll add another update once we're all done and please let us know if you have any problems (related to the forum only). Thanks
  11. The graph shows Coal, Oil & Gas in 2006 at 105, 59 and 58 TWh, which adds up to 222 TWh total produced by fossil fuels. Then in 2017 it shows Coal, Oil & Gas at 78, 77 and 77 TWh, which adds up to 232 TWh total produced by fossil fuels. So we' re producing 10 TWh more electricity by fossil fuels than 11 years ago, which proves that Electric Cars are clean? What am I missing?
  12. I can't quite believe it, and he will hate to be described this way, but our fearless leader @Lexx has purchased a pipe, some slippers and retired from forum duties. Those of you who have been around a while will be aware that Al not only bares the brunt of the work required to keep this place up and running in the virtual world, but in the real one too. When he isn't holding the site together, Al is busy doing other things, like paying the server bills or liaising with the IT geeks or supporting anyone on the Team who needs a hand. In his spare time, they get him to shift badly parked aircraft carriers and he's also got a sideline being the patriarch of a household with at least half a dozen kids. I don't need to tell those of you who attended the Coventry 10th Anniversary meet that it was a huge success and fitting way to mark 10 years. This was Al's baby, from inception to the last shot at the bar. Organising the day-time venue, the hotel, the meal, The Members, The Team, the raffle, the epic car park plan, the badges, the instructions, the DJ, the finances, the list goes on. It was a shining example of the many events that keep the community not just ticking over online, but somewhere that has a real world social presence too. It's impossible to overstate Al's contribution to the forum, so I won't bang on, but every member should know we wouldn't have a working forum right now were it not for Al. All I can say further is, on behalf of The Members and The Team, a huge THANK YOU!
  13. This was so predictable I wish I could’ve bet money on it! Looking forward to the new build!
  14. Thanks for the responses chaps, PM on its way to you all. Please can people PM me for my email address to submit photos, rather than post them on the thread. Ideally they will be a surprise to everyone when you open the calendar up in 2018
  15. Got ya, I misunderstood, I thought you meant Karcher branded as opposed to Karcher fitment.
  16. Got a link? The only Karcher one I’ve seen is the useless grey effort they chuck in with the pressure washer.
  17. Look, I can’t be held responsible for prices changing over time or things getting rage smashed for that matter!
  18. For anyone who's in the lance market, the first post here claims a 3 and a half year lifespan for my Polished Bliss Lance and talks about it's replacement. Well today that replacement finally tested my patience to the limit. The sloppy excuse for foam it's been putting out for a month or so meant it had a trip to the vice for disassembly, ahead of a planned service, this didn't go well for the lance. It's obstinance was rewarded with being laid to rest in a ceremony involving excessive swearing. I cannot recommend this lance. The PB lance last over 3 times the life and certainly wasn't 3 times the price.
  19. There’s always someone in a bigger vehicle
  20. It’s hard to imagine how I survived a youth being ferried around in an XR2, a Micra, a Sierra and a Citroen BX - without exploding into a ball of flames. #oneoftheluckyones #nosuvnoproblem
