  1. Ah similar to me. I have an MSI gtx670 also, 8gb ballistix RAM and i5 3rd gen. Just picked up another SSD HDD yesterday as I went to a nVidia open day at novatech Portsmouth.
  2. The MonoPros are just a slightly better kit, they have better dampening and the ride is nicer. I don't know why they made them a true coilover as the MonoPros I had were for the E36 and were not a true coilover , but they were fantastic
  3. Off topic, but I'll have to send you my spec of my rig. You should like it! What card you running?
  4. Have you not seen my avatar/build thread? Yes! Lol
  5. It's an axolotyl. You can get them at most fish stores, very weird creatures. I used to have them years ago!
  6. Yes these are similar to MonoPros. Good kit!
  7. Dualtechs but I've had MonoPros too. Both quite firm but have dampening adjustment.
  8. E36 328i sport. Fantastic car and mid range performance and well within your budget. You would be surprised that it pulls just as good as a zed to a certain degree.
  9. Get coilovers, do it right! I have HSDs but if you don't mind a bone shaking ride you'll be ok.
  10. Definitely mapped! Or has had a SLD fitted Where would that be located? UpRev let's you go beyond 155mph, not just up to I pulled off the gas at 150, so I wouldn't know. On German roads btw!
  11. Definitely mapped! Or has had a SLD fitted Where would that be located?
  12. My JDM does go up to 155, which makes me wonder if its mapped as it should be 112 limited?
  13. Guys, you need to invest in a GoPro! Lol Looks like a great day out though!
  14. Used to be a BMW in Gosport with GAY5. Or somewhere along that line!
  15. Don't worry about it too much man, there are thousands of products out there its just what we all have tried and tested. I am sure I have yet to try something that is better than what I already use! It's a good little guide
  16. I see some valet pro snow foam I think, all be it a small bottle! Incredible stuff!
  17. Driftworks. Don't skimp on wheel nuts as I know people that got cheap knock off D1 spec that snapped.
  18. Well I was worried I was going to get abused for not doing things correctly, but the feedback has all been constructive. When I first started looking into it, all the information and advise was overwhelming to be honest. I think something similar to my original (after edits) is a decent place to grasp the basics, then you can build from there. The initial move from a sponge and fairy liquid to a microfibre and car shampoo is hardest step, after that it's an expensive, slippery slope to obsession! Here is my rather tame shelf How do you rate the Megs Gold Class shampoo? I started with that but have tried a few others since as it didn't get me all into a lather. I dont rate it at all, compared to the NXT or newer lime one they do! That's what I'm using ATM.
  19. I'm poorly paid public servant (time rich at the moment but cash poor) who struggles to keep up with its appetite for super unleaded, never mind lashing out on bodyshop rates (i was quoted £500 cash plus i would have to supply/fit a new wing - if i cant make a decent job of it, i may have to go down that route. Having said that, you're not the first to say that, inc my wife, dad etc etc Are they standard wings? You should be looking at like £100!
  20. Give it to a professional? Lol. Cant be much to get 2 wings sorted.

Thought about it so many times, just wish it was that easy!
