  1. If this is blade silver I think i saw this a couple of weeks back going down Eastleigh high street. It has a loud exhaust. Jon
  2. Or http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/62006-350z-honda-rdx-stubby-massive-saving-13-delivered-huge-stock/page__st__60__hl__stubby#entry949646 Redline is currently £2 cheaper at £13 delivered
  3. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63671-cleaning-screen-washer-jets/page__hl__+return%20+valve#entry943996 Jon
  4. As above could be the non return valve. At least it's a cheap thing to attempt first http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63671-cleaning-screen-washer-jets/page__hl__+return%20+valve#entry943996 Jon
  5. Keep at it, it's tricky to get right. It took me 3 attempts the other day. I had the same problem as you the first couple of times. The timing is crucial.
  6. Would love it if there was an answer to this. They decided to "treat" the only road into my girlfriends estate a couple of months ago and 3 weeks after my front end respray I now have 1 stone chip on my freshly painted bumper ggggrrrrrr.
  7. Looks good, i decided against a screen in mine as i didn't think i'd use it. They look much nicer than non screen double dins though. Hows the volume after the install? have you read the thread about Busters RCA mod, i'm yet to do mine but apparently sounds much louder.
  8. £94.99 for a full brand new set delivered on eBay, just saying.
  9. Cheers RT PM replied to. Cant wait to receive it, just wish i lived closer for fitting Jon
  10. If the numbers fall to low for this due to people dropping out i would love one of these for a pre facelift in gloss black gel coat and will send payment immediately. Jon
  11. lol, to be honest i don't think ive ever read anyone saying it was a 5 minute a side job. imagine my face last month when i had my MOT and thought i'd best check my bulbs etc the evening before (it was dark already by this time) and discovered one of my bulbs blown. my MOT was 08:30 the following morning, so i was outside at 07:00 taking the wheel and wheel arch liner off. still i'm sure there are worse jobs.
  12. Very nice. I was driving behind one of these between Fair and Oak and Eastleigh on Monday in my Silver Z.... wasn't you was it?
  13. Thought I'd add to this thread, my gunmetal panel arrived today. So on it went.... Very nice bit of kit, just need to clean and add a few more bits to my engine bay now. Oh and replace the clips I broke when fitting the panel, oops. Thanks Chris!
  14. +1 for evo motors, I bought mine from there. They normally only stock 53-55 plate cars though as the pre facelift DE engines cars with lower tax can be sold quickly.
  15. I've not heard any horror stories tbh. Someone on another forum I used to use recently bought one cheap with over 100k on the clock and is happy with it. One of my mates had an early one from new and a facelift before trading to an RS but tbh he only had them for a few thousand miles so not really enough time to develop faults. I'd consider a 5 door when I need more space. And they are Fords so parts and labour are cheap, cheap, cheap.
  16. from previous threads on here that i've read i'm sorry to say i think you'll be spending closer to £600 for parts if your replacing clutch and flywheel and depending on the garage £200 ish for labour. fingers crossed for your warranty claim. Jon
  17. They are a common area to wear, some owners have resprayed theirs with plastidip with simar results finish wise to standard. A better idea would be to contact RTcustomz for this....... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70886-rtcustomz-interior-arm-rests-80/
  18. Agreed! The list of mods to declare to the insurance company gets bigger every month, but the list of parts wanted never gets smaller, lol.
  19. Jet washed the driveway? Lol Lowered the car a bit more?
  20. I've seen those (or possibly a cheap version) on eBay, quite like it if I'm honest
  21. I put in £40 tonight and didn't get a voucher :-(
  22. a few ideas in here..... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/60716-headlight-tlc/page__hl__headlight#entry970398
  23. I've just picked my car up from the bodyshop after a front end respray and the garage decided to machine polish my headlights for me as a bonus. That has worked well on my lights, before that i had applied various polishes etc by hand without much success. Light sanding and re-buffing up the lights with an orbital polisher is probably the only permanant solution.
  24. One less problem for me to ask about when I fit my spacers at the weekend Cheers Jon
  25. The only picture of mine I've got to hand is ..... Blade silver 350z with gun metal powder coated rays wheels. Jon
