Redline is currently £2 cheaper at £13 delivered
As above could be the non return valve.
At least it's a cheap thing to attempt first

Keep at it, it's tricky to get right. It took me 3 attempts the other day.
I had the same problem as you the first couple of times.
The timing is crucial.
Would love it if there was an answer to this.
They decided to "treat" the only road into my girlfriends estate a couple of months ago and 3 weeks after my front end respray I now have 1 stone chip on my freshly painted bumper ggggrrrrrr.
Looks good, i decided against a screen in mine as i didn't think i'd use it. They look much nicer than non screen double dins though.
Hows the volume after the install? have you read the thread about Busters RCA mod, i'm yet to do mine but apparently sounds much louder.
If the numbers fall to low for this due to people dropping out i would love one of these for a pre facelift in gloss black gel coat and will send payment immediately.
Jon
lol, to be honest i don't think ive ever read anyone saying it was a 5 minute a side job.
imagine my face last month when i had my MOT and thought i'd best check my bulbs etc the evening before (it was dark already by this time) and discovered one of my bulbs blown.
my MOT was 08:30 the following morning, so i was outside at 07:00 taking the wheel and wheel arch liner off.
still i'm sure there are worse jobs.
Thought I'd add to this thread, my gunmetal panel arrived today. So on it went....
Very nice bit of kit, just need to clean and add a few more bits to my engine bay now. Oh and replace the clips I broke when fitting the panel, oops.
Thanks Chris!
+1 for evo motors, I bought mine from there.
They normally only stock 53-55 plate cars though as the pre facelift DE engines cars with lower tax can be sold quickly.
I've not heard any horror stories tbh. Someone on another forum I used to use recently bought one cheap with over 100k on the clock and is happy with it.
One of my mates had an early one from new and a facelift before trading to an RS but tbh he only had them for a few thousand miles so not really enough time to develop faults.
I'd consider a 5 door when I need more space.
And they are Fords so parts and labour are cheap, cheap, cheap.
from previous threads on here that i've read i'm sorry to say i think you'll be spending closer to £600 for parts if your replacing clutch and flywheel and depending on the garage £200 ish for labour.
fingers crossed for your warranty claim.

They are a common area to wear, some owners have resprayed theirs with plastidip with simar results finish wise to standard.
A better idea would be to contact RTcustomz for this.......

I've just picked my car up from the bodyshop after a front end respray and the garage decided to machine polish my headlights for me as a bonus.
That has worked well on my lights, before that i had applied various polishes etc by hand without much success.
Light sanding and re-buffing up the lights with an orbital polisher is probably the only permanant solution.
