  2. Is that the norm on a HR313 with breathing and exhaust mods? Know its all about driveability improvements, but did anticpate more. On the plus side, 5bhp more would be kind on insurance!
  3. Fingers crossed for some good numbers, will post Sat afternoon TDI did my Cobra exhaust last year, really good service
  4. Off to TDI North this saturday :-)

  6. Aerial was from here http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/Kinetic_DBA-5001_DAB_car_aerial.html Fitting was much easier than I expected. You need to remove the internal plastic trim from the boot to get to the back of the FM aerial and then it simply u screws. Fitted the new one and ran wire to headunit. Full signal straight away and never had any burble since. One thing to note. If you have the factory satnav, you'll lose TMC as it uses the FM aerial. I didn't realise this when fitting and took me a while to realise. No great loss though.
  7. I gave up with internal DAB aerials as hey where pants Eventually replaced the standard aerial
  8. just noticed you have 3600 not 3500. Should be same I expect
  9. I have mine set to +3 for iPod and DAB which I find OK
  10. I have the same headunit and have no issues. No need to do the wire-splice mod. In the settings, you can boost the input signal by adjusting the source levels Page 54 in the manual http://docs.pioneer.eu/Manuals/AVH_X3500DAB_CRB4082_manual/GetPDF.ashx
  11. Fave mod after my Cobra exhaust
  12. I replace the rears with a set of Hertz 165 Fitted them into the plastic rather than the original mounts
  13. Will be getting mine done in April; yearly bonus time :-)
  14. Thanks. Added to bookmarks for future use :-)
  15. And then you can remove th BT module, sell it on eBay and put something more useful in
  16. I would check that the amp for the FM aerial is working. As I say, I didnt bother as I replaced the FM aerial with a DAB one to get a better DAB signal
  17. If you have the birdview satnav installed, have you lost TMC? I noticed I lost this also, which uses the FM aerial
  18. No, gave up on FM and use DAB only. I thought I had possibly messed the aerial amp up somehow
  19. Go for it :-) I went for the same, managed to get off an eBay seller in Israel for £10 delivered! Photo is a bit blurred I'm afraid
  20. You need to use the Pioneer supplied mic Fitted this HU to my sons Mazda last week
  21. Take the lack of replies as a NO then! Have booked into L&G :-)
  22. MOT and a P1 service for my 2009 GT Used L&G last year and very happy with service and cost. Before booking again, wondered if there are any recommendations a bit closer to me; near Chester Thx
  23. I tried this http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/FM-AM_to_FM-AM-DAB_aerial_converter.html and it didn't work. Before I realised the Z aerial was amped. At least you checked first! Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk
  24. Hi there. Yes, the standard Z aerial s amplified. The amp sits the other side of the aerial itself in boot space. Think my posts say it all, but before I fitted an external aerial reception was terrible. You could use a glass mounted external one. I just didn't want two aerials on the Z. http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/ best place for aerial reviews etc. Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk
