  1. Always wondered how people updated the title of their posts. Thanks
  2. it seems such a well done 'bend' that I'm hoping it is by design!
  3. So, on the way home tonight and slowing down towards a roundabout a car hit the car behind me who then went into me. Luckily, the guy behind had left a decent gap so not much damage to mine - just an imprint of his number plate The other two are much worse For my own peace of mind, can someone confirm that this picture is 'normal' That is, the shape? Taken underneath the car with the exhaust on the bottom, looking up Pretty sure it's OK as the bump was not that hard and exhaust etc all look fine. Cheers
  4. Have Amazon prime, so will! give that one a go. Cheers
  5. Sure I stumbled over a post previously on this, but cant find. When I first start the car, there is a stagnant water smell for a few seconds and then its fine. I tend to leave the aircon on all the time as I like the car cool/cold! inside Do I need to get the aircon system cleaned, or is it normal?
  6. Damn you, I now need to look at getting a wrap Looks amazing
  7. Pretty sure you can get a plain panel, have a look on here - http://www.conceptzp...=Interior&CA=44 Sent from the golf club... Was hopeful looking through the link, but no luck :-( Will hit Google tonight
  8. I went down an Android phablet route. Now just need to get rid of the oem satnav controls. Any idease?

  10. Changed my mind after using it for 2 weeks. My tablet install
  11. I did the same Managed to saw a groove with a hacksaw and then use a screwdriver to remove
  12. I paid a bit less, but this is the sort of thing http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rear-View-CAMERA-for-NISSAN-Skyline-GTR-Fairlady-350Z-Cube-Pulsar-Livina-Tiida-/261131748675?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_DigitalCameras_JN&hash=item3cccaa4543
  13. Basically if when you press the boot release button you find that the boot doesn't lift high enough and you have to press the button a second time then the boot assist popper springs could be worn. The easiest cheapest way to fix this is to remove the boot assist units & their rubber covers ~ then pop some pennies or washers inside the rubber covers & refit. Have a look at this thread; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/35706-the-penny-trick/ Personally I wouldn't do it as a member on here does new springs & a fitting service for them which is cheap enough anyway. Who sells new springs?
  14. Hadn't given this a thought.have had a micro OBD plugged in for a few weeks connected to an Android tablet. Drive the car most days depending how often I work from home and so far been fine. Will defo unplug when away for 2 weeks in August
  15. That looks good as new, will do the same. Thanks
  16. if you could, pics would be appreciated
  17. Fed up using black marker pen to hide the marks I've left taking the bit of trim out. Anybody have a good one for sale, or know where I can get one (or two!)
  18. I have an Alpine sub, so can't help I'm afraid.
  19. Yep, using E-robot to detect power on which then switches screen on and GPS etc Tablet goes about 10 days in deep sleep so fine for most of the year. When it does fully switch off, I'll need to remove the OEM satnav controls to push the power button. Would have liked to wire an external power switch but way beyond both my soldering skills and eyesight!
  20. Was a pretty painless install. I opted for a Ulefone U7 tablet, very narrow so knew it would fit in the space taken by the birdview. It's a phablet and with a GiffGaff SIM installed I have access to online stuff whilst on the move. http://www.1buy.com/ulefone-u7-phablet-mtk6592-octa-core-android-4-2-7-0-inch-narrow-bezel-2gb-16gb-otg-3g-13mp-white-black.html I'm using Smart Launcher Pro instead of the stock launcher, I like the clean interface and big buttons E-Robot is the task manager I've settled on. Just two events that detect power on and power off and this switches wifi/data/gps on/off and adjusts screen brightness and timeout. Short video
  21. Yellow and black plug to the rear L and R The Bose sub is driven by the rear outs. Confused me too when first replacing the oem hu
