  1. Sounds to simple going to get one though, seems a good idea to have both eyes on pressure and temp
  2. Evening all Was wondering if anyone here has an oil temp gauge, mate of mine and I were talking at work today about oil temp gauges, I want one and so does he in the drivers door heater vent. Found a real nice auto gauge red or blue dial, and just need a sandwich plate from mishimoto or something. We reckon it will be under 100 to do it properly, just seeing if anyone has one and what's it like to setup etc Cheers Arran
  3. Hmmm not a good start then think il stick with the invidia then Shame as they look the absolute nuts, that would be one exhaust I'd actually do the bumper tuck on
  4. I want a quieter exhaust plus ive got the Motordyne ART pipes aswell so will sound perfect i think The R1T is only mid and rear section i found out with y pipe optinal http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/350z-exoticspeed-r1-t-exhaust.aspx The R2T is full catback, has a HX pipe instead y pipe http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/350z-exoticspeed-rii-titan-pwr-exhaust.aspx Love the look of these, id get the rolled titanium tips
  5. Morning all When I come to order my new exhaust which at the moment will be an invidia Gemini titanium rolled tip, I've been looking around and have spotted these exoticspeed exhausts, look like true dual complete cat back systems. There's two different versions the first R1T or R1 then the second R2T pwr The T versions are made from a mix of titanium (the mufflers and tips) and stainless steel (piping) pretty sure they are 2.5" pipe diameter to. Just wknderjng if anyone on here has one, they look like the amuse r1 (so bloody gorgeous) and come in at a 1000 or 1200, will see if u can get a better deal but its only a couple of hundred quid more than the invidia so wonder if they are worth going for over the Gemini?
  6. Go and give them a bloody good spanking, if its been sitting a while that should do it. I'd still get yellowstuff next time round though, I'm 500 miles into my new set and they are a great improvement. Not pushed them hard yet as letting them bed in fully but they'll really be tested at the stelvio pass and nurburgring end of the month
  7. What area do you live? Seems to be a lot of midlands I believe
  8. Omfg! Can imagine the anger your feeling fella. I'd be absolutely livid, No insurance and hit and run, can't believe these bastards get away with it so easily. Hope you get it sorted and it looks even better than new
  9. Yes I know mine has been
  10. So when you come to sell it on here, it's been run on 95 for 30k miles should be alright (maybe) but yeah super from now on mate, 99 if possible I'd say. I keep all the petrol receipts for mine (v power or momentum) so it's all documented, did that with my last car and the new owner said he's never seen such an anal enthusiast I mean keeping 3 and a half years of petrol receipts just to prove to the new owner it's was run on 99 how many would do that? Was about 4inches thick (ooh eer) of receipts

    Accelera PHI

Thing with part worns is you don't know their history, would only use them as drift tyres if it was me. What's your budget? You doing all 4?

    Accelera PHI

For the price thats inbetween budget and top level your better off buying vredstein ultrac sessantas, loads of dry drip with good wet grip and very well priced.

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole imo they come under my term 'Chinese ditch finder' you get what you pay for in most instances I find
  14. I used to use it when I had sitting water one the screen but the line it used to make pi**ed me off so off it went don't even think about using it now Do it!
  15. Where'd you get the gear gaiter from? Looks great I want one
  16. Thanks Mitz, glad you managed to get whiteline around and get them straight out would have been a real pain otherwise! Excellent bushes though really have improved the rear combined with the camber arms, drives amazing now. That's a bummer matt, at least it's not like a tenner a pot, will test it on one chip and see what it's like if its pants then il get out bodyshop guy to make some up from a sample
  17. On the weekend i decided to go halfords and get the required grommets needed to delete the rear wiper, didnt pay a penny as i had some money left on a gift card, touch. Got home and followed the guide on here, ten minutes later it was done, not much effort needed at all for a much better end product imo looks so much cleaner with a wiper arm. Gave the beast a wash and Zaino Z8 tonight as the weather was good, anyone wanting a sealant that gives protection and a show stopping gloss thats so easy to apply should get some, honestly its the best stuff ive used for gloss and depth And in my true anal fashion after stripping all the boot plastics out the clean and protect them etc a few clips busted so had a genius idea of matching up some new BMW clips with rubber and cushion washers that sandwhich inbetween both contact points to stop any rattles etc wasnt rattling anyway but cant do any harm Also ordered some of that enamel humbrol #54 paint to touch two of the calipers up, apparently its a perfect match so for £2 its a no brainer just two little chips bugging the hell out of me so thats another thing to tick off the list Wheels will be getting done very soon, in need of doing i must say
  18. Can number 2 be taken off the list please, really can't stretch to it now as getting the car ready for Europe has taken all my budget
  19. Sell those for a set of rays, they are so much nicer. Never been a fan of those on a Z, winter or track wheels maybe but they don't look 'special' enough for me imo Wheels and spacers with a couple other minor touches would make this stand out and look great, never seen a red one personally
  20. Delete the rear wiper for a much cleaner look. Nice to see a red Z, I reckon a set of rays and Eibach spacers would set this off lovely.
  21. Either driftworks flywheel or competition clutch I would go for
  22. Would love to Jordan mate but can't spend that much on them now plus would need to be stripped and painted gold again
