  1. I had one in my E36 so I'm going to order one of those and you use the carpet screws on BMW's , benefits of working at a dealer
  2. I went to the nurburgring a month ago with a big group of us, took the z on tourist days and tbh I would have found it hard to crash if I'm honest it's just like a great country road where you have the most fun, all you need to do is keep concentrated and be aware of what's coming up and what's coming up behind you, get a feel for the car in the first sections of the track then go for it, for my first ever lap I timed it (people say don't time it but it's really not difficult to just get your passenger to press the buttons and you forget it's timing until the end) and I was really surprised by my time I thought I would have timed alot more, the car is setup up beautifully from the upgrades I've done and it's a real pleasure on track. Learned and bonded alot with it doing the stelvio pass aswell and a 1720 mile European trip we Be safe and aware and you'll have a blast and make sure the car is up to it and sustained abuse
  3. Mines on 73k and original clutch perfectly fine
  4. 100% fella I was going to get eibach ones until sly said don't bother and im around 40mm down
  5. Does anyone know what size the sensor port is on the mocal 92 degree thermostatic plate is? Im looking at an oil temp gauge which has a 1/8npt fitment i know the block fitment is m20x1.5 on it just need to know the sensor port size Looks like the driftworks kit is winning just need that final info
  6. Sly at kaizer said to me front camber arms are a waste of time the stock arms have plenty of adjustment
  7. You will need rear camber arms regardless tbh, that's about all you need
  8. Will do cheers rich look quite good the new style
  9. Can these be done in gold?
  10. That will sell no problem! Looks lovely
  11. Both hot when coming out of tap then by the time ive snow foamed and washed wheels its nicely warm
  12. For meguaires its actually very good however I would use a two stage process using menzerna power finish and final finish
  13. Been looking at this which looks a good bet and im pretty sure ive seen a thread on here with another owner using the S14/15 fittings which fit ours http://www.driftworks.com/thermostatic-oil-cooler-kit-for-all-engines.html
  14. Basically I could use a mocal 25 row with mocal thermostatic plate, an10 fittings and braided hose havent seen an outlet for a sensor on a decent thermostatic plate though
  15. So make a custom kit really then, I was looking at the mishimoto ones at 345 for a thermostatic one but believe thats actually quite expensive? Also the two plates that sit in the grill mouth eitherside I take it you have to remove these to create more airflow to the cooler and area in general
  16. Anybody have any infi5
  17. When I put the horsham kit on my idle fluctuation every 30 secs also went for 30 quid its rude not to
  18. Afternoon all since coming back from the nurburgring ive thought alot about oil temperatures on track and fast road, il be getting an oil temp gauge in the near future and pretty sure I want to get an oil cooler aswell, my question for those in the know is what one to get and who actually make them ie ams mishimoto etc my criteria is as follows for getting the right setup I run silkolene pro s 5w3o oil with a hks sports oil filter, car will be doing a few trackdays and occassional fast road use I want to run a thermostatic cooler aswell and one that has enough outlets on the plate to plumb in a temp gauge Anybody help out with this? Cheers arran
  19. Welcome dude, im in Epsom aswell with an azure gt
  20. Phil had the dual tech kit fitted on the black z, tbh either kit will be one of the best mods you'll do on the car
  21. The dualtech are also preloaded adjustable aswell as having the same ride height adjustment all thats different is the top mounts and layout of the rear setup and of course the dampers, having 2 more clicks on the damping settings wont do alot but its a fraction better tuning Mate of mine has the monopro on his yes they are good but for me it wasnt worth the risk of the turrets for me and the ride is more compliant on the dualtechs ive found still hsd are probably the best coilovers to go for on a z imo superb units in both guises
  22. I believe so yes, abbey motorsport are one of them and mark has said to me before I bought my hsds that the Z strut towers arent designed to take the full force of a spring and damper so advised against it, I ended up buying the dual tech kit which is just as good if not better for road use
  23. Thats a lovely example shouldnt take long to sell
