I decided to search through the UK mot's the car only failed one! (cant check the NI ones as they are different) And most random reason ever Every Wheel was missing a wheel Nut! Odd

Since i've only had my zed for 6 months just wondering what the common reasons are for MOT failures. My MOT is due in the next month, i usually get it done at the earliest (to preserve the mot date) however cant do it this time as when i purchased it, i got it from NI so it has a different MOT so cant do it early. I would normally look at the cars MOT history online since 2006 but same problem being a NI car. It doesnt even list the ones when it was a uk car orignally. I'm not expecting to have to shell out lots of money for MOT as it drives well and safe enough (hopefully) But want to be prepared for whats common (its a 53 plate car i have) cheers for advice

+1 ! We just serviced my dads honda legend which has full honda service history! Filters not been changed in ages!! But apparantly Honda just done it 200 miles ago!!! Hmm having to break the old filter to get it off doesnt ring any bells of 200 miles! Hence DIY Is much better, as i can honestly say its been done. ( i now keep receipts for all my z bits regardless of what it is mod or service etc)

Been looking to replace my bose cd unit in my 2004 gt (with bose audio) as it constantly skips and common left speaker issue, so it's useless. Finally got round to getting some pics, after my xmas goodies. Weather was usual scottish rain, with showers in between. (also have my 4x4 wheels on, aka my winter set lol, summer set is my preferred rays)

I run 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 on my summer tyres (off my BMW) car sits lower so speed bumps are a problem if they catch u out. My winter set are 235/50/18 all round, my zed looks a bit 4x4 ish. (got 4x Bridge stone blizaks for 100 quid with less than 50 miles, so couldn't resist trying them for the winter) I have no problem with tc (I have a 53 UK gt, if it helps)

Do u think updated ones will hold boot with spoiler? The uprated ones do hold the spoiler up. Just fitted a set of these this morning, as my boot would kill me, as i've recently put a new spoiler on. Got them from sgs and free next day delivery Very impressed with item as well.

Maybe the fuse Ahhh is that the problem - I thought being bright green mine was stealthy anyway Depends if u driving along side a row of hedges! *guy looks out window* Hmm that hedge is sounding awful loud these days!!

Firstly i work for royal mail, i know were not perfect and we all have made mistakes. However this courier story just proves the grass is not always greener on the other side, (i get alot of complains about staff in my office daily, so used of it) Ok heres how my story goes. So since i got the zed i always knew it would be awful in winter. Since i cant afford a second car to insure/own during winter, i decided get a second set of alloys and winter tyres (like i had on my beemer). So after months of looking, i purchased a set of 18" rims of greido, all good. Eventually got round to buying a full set of winter tyres online. So finish work, and go home for the evening. (this is almost a exact convo, not word for word, but the jist of it) Chap Chap Chap Goes my door. Standing there is a chavy/ned looking guy with no uniform (only a high vis vest), and a white unmarked van. Courier - <insert well known orange company here that sounds like dynamite> a rite mate, got parcels for u Me - Ok cool *courier goes to van and comes to my door with 3x 18" tyres" Courier - Can i get you to sign here Me - Em wheres the other one? Courier - What other one Me - Well that says 1/4 that says 3/4 and that says 4/4 where is 2/4???? Courier - Um, do u know what the other thing is???? Me - *sarcastically* prob another tyre! *Courier guy goes to van, and about 5 mins later i go out to him* Courier - U sure its a tyre? as i dont have any more?? Me - Yep, pretty certain, whats that black thing at the back of your van?? *courier guy stumbles thru all the stuff to back of van* Courier - Its a tyre! So as soon as this guy brings it into the light i could tell right away it was not mines as it looked around 14" Courier guy dumps it ontop of the 3x18" infront of my house. Me - Thats not mines Courier - How no? Me - Well its the wrong size for starters Courier - Is it? Me - *stares at this 14" wheel resting on the inside of my 18" wheel" Me - Yup Courier - Cant be, maybe u ordered the wrong one? Me - Well it says 4/4 on the tyre, i'm missing 2 outa 4 Courier - But u are expecting 4 tyres right? Me - Yes Courier - Can u sign here then? Me - No Courier - Why not? me - Cause its not mine, i'm missing one tyre the right size!!!! *courier guy goes back to van makes phone call, then comes back* Courier - My boss says if u want them u have to sign for them, ure expecting four tyres here is four tyres! Me - But its not mines, have u delivered other tyres today? Courier - Aye Me - Well do u think maybe they have 3 wee tyres and 1 big one??? Couter - Nope, Take it or leave it Me - Just take them back pal!! Closed the door. That was pretty much it, contacted the company and they basically said its not the first time they have mucked it up. Needless to say the following day a total different guy pitches up with four correct tyres, and i was happy!!!! I know were not perfect, but its not the hardest job, seriously!!!

they will only work when the headlights are on. I've never used the button to use them, i just when driving at night. Use the traditional clean windscreen pull back method, and for the next few seconds pray nothing is happening infront of me, as u cant see anything till it stops

anyone got one of these installed? how hard is it to hook it up to a bose fitted sound system? As thinking of replacing my skipping/left chanel bose HU
