What colour you painting the callipers? And are you DIY'ing them?

Could just get them painted properly if they do fade? Wouldn't be difficult to do them yourself or I'm sure a body shop wouldn't charge much for a professinal job? I'm thinking of getting a set but judging by this thread I may just plasti dip them, even if it's just a clear coat of plastidip to protect them.

I was racking my brain trying to think of what it reminded me of and that's exactly what it is, an even uglier version of a 90's Celica!

Not my cup of tea in all honesty, never been a fan of the Nismo kit at all and while I do quite like the colour of the wrap (I think) I don't think the blue on the wheels works with it? Although I can see what you are trying with the contrast. Needs a healthy drop but fair play to you for daring to be different and the effort gone into it!

Cheers mate! Even though it may not be the best idea, do you think I could get away with clean as bet as possible then putting another layer of base down and allowing to dry before putting the laquer on? If that's the best the best I can do that is? Also, how long would you advise between final coat of paint and laquer?

Cheers for the advice bud, I'm asking as I may HAVE to drive the car later this evening and just trying to work out if I was better risking driving it without the clear coat or rushing it slightly and putting the clear coat on without giving the base the ideal amount of time to dry Started the prep and priming last night thinking I didn't need the car today but now something has come up! :(

Doing some touch up on one alloy wheel using primer/base coat and high temp laquer form rattle cans. So far so good, got the base coat on there now. Just wondering how long should I give that to dry before putting the laquer on but more importantly will I be okay to drive the car (just around the City) once the base is dry but before the first coat of laquer? Obviously I'll clean/degrease the area before appying the laquer after driving the car if it's okay to do so?

What's the quoted drop on those Ark springs mate? The Ings is still my favoirite lip but I've got some Eibach's going on soon (30mm drop) and afraid that the speed bumps in my area would rip it off Also, do you mind me asking where you got your lip from and a rough cost?

Wasn't sure where to put this as its in 2 parts. Firstly, spotted this guys 370 a couple of times on City Road but not had a proper look (hence why I'm not sure if it's black or that Quartz colour?) and I've also spoken to him when he came to hear my newly fitted exhaust at Prospeed. Secondly, I now want to hear yours! spoke to Charlie and he said you had the same set up as me but went back for 2 bypass pipes from the centre section around the back box. Possibly going to get the same thing done myself but would like to hear it first? Hopefully you're on here??

Josh, it was your wheel that dealt the final blow! I had been watching the one on eBay for months, but never took the chance, but so so glad i did. It really transforms the car, as each time you sit in the car, you are looking at it and holding in. I have not a single complaint for the cost, worth every penny. I dont think ive got one stand out favourite mod, but the spoiler is up there, complimented with the spats. The paint in the engine bay was VHT Anodised Red. Actually got that idea off a thread on here. Its an excellent finish, and hopeully get to do the callipers at somepoint too. Got a few small things in the pipeline, but should make quite a difference Yeah, definitely worth it! Like you say, you use and see it more than anything on the car and it was the only thing in the interior of the 370 which still felt a bit dated for me! Okay good stuff, cheers mate! And I assume it's an aerosol one not a tin of VHT paint? Might have to have a go myself as I do like a cheapish DIY mod but not handy enough to take on much else myself! Haha!

Wow! Love this, those carbon parts are lovely! Not sure about the wing, think I'd prefer the duckbill but it does still work! You had any issues with those sideblades scraping on speed bumps etc?

Looks awesome Ross! I definitely approve of the steering wheel of course Funny seeing yours as it looks identical to mine bar the sticthing and centre band colour! Still my favourite mod on my 370! Love the endgine bay mods too, do you remember what brand it is and is it just regualr or a kind of textured one? Love the rear spats too, very tmpted to get a pair myself but not sure if I'd want to colour code them or go black/CF! Look forward to more updates

Silly question here, but what problems does the pop up sytem cause with the struts fitted then? I'm intresrest in a set of these if they can be installed without causing any issues as seeing as I'm going to the US in a month or so might be a good time for me to order some out there and bring them home?

Have had afew quotes from local places to replace which are all about £80, not bad but if I can do it myself I don't mind having a go at stuff like this, done an iPhone back and battery before which was pretty fiddly, just want to make sure I use the right bits if I do have a go myself

Just had a text from the missus to say she's dropped her iPhone on my iPad and cracked the screen, great Not even I would be harsh enough to make her pay Apple to get me a new screen so just wondering exactly what I need to it myself. Not hit the bottom yet - did on the 350 but that was lower on Tein springs. As I say I have caught the front but I live on a private road and the potholes get really bad - the road needs tarmacking but the whole street can never agree on it (only 11 houses) O well That's good news then as bottoming out was my biggest worry really! There's only 2 of us going so if we don't get a convertible will probably go with just a regualr focus or something unless there's no reall difference in price. Alamo seem to be one of the better deals though! I'll have a look at them now, cheers bud!

From reading your thread mate, when you say less than a fist to the front lip do you mean the plastic black think undeneath the bumper or the actual lip of the front bumper itself? I'm desperate to get mnie lowered but as the plastic black lip already catches on mie going over speed bumps (particurlaly those nasty black/yellow one's) I'm a bit nervous! The plastic chin spoiler mate not the actual bumper itself. The front mud guards are the lowest point and they are literally an inch off the floor. They even hit when cornering hard lol. Haha! That's not too bad then! Could always shave those down a bit, or I guess the floor will eventually do that for you lol! Do you have any experience of them going over those horrible black and yellow plastic speed bumps? I know that's very specific but there a set of 5 of those that I go over twice a day, my old 350 used to catch on them all and don't want to be doing the same on a much newer car I know exactly what you mean mate and unfortunately they are the worse. Depends how big they are but you will bottom out on some of them. Luckily its the chassis that catches on the 70 and not the Y pipe like the 50. Ah that's not too bad then cos I did rip a few holes in my old 350's exhaust which was my main concern with lowering this! Hopefully get away with it then when I get round too it! Have you had problems with the camber and tyre wear since lowering? You need to get it setup correctly after lowering but no I haven't seen any uneven wear. I do drive around 20k a year too so this is important to me. So you just had aproper 4 wheel alignment or something done after fitting was it?
