  1. Haha fair point! We're staying in a Villa in Champions Gate owned by family so saving a huge whack there over 3 weeks hence not minding paying extra but like you say I think it could work out as a huge amount more as I'm under 25 in which case not worth it!
  2. Yeah I take your point mate, I was just fancying something a bit different to the usual Dodge/Ford as we'll most likely be doing a bit of travellig down to the Keys/Tampa etc so would be happy to pay a little extra but like you say probably not worth it if it's a huge whack more!
  3. I'm in Orlando area for 3 weeks in May and looking to book a hire car. I'd love to book a classic American car for the entire period I'm there rather than the boing standard for focus etc but only found a few websites and the cost doesn't seem viable unless anyone has had more luck than me in the past here? If I can't I'm looking to book a convertible Mustang instead but being under 25 I'm finding it difficult to find a decent price and confirmation online that it includes the under 25 surcharge. Anyone been in my position and can reccomend a particular company to use? Any tips? Cheers
  4. Cheers mate! It does sit lovely, just the right 'stance' for a car like this imo! I've already got 20/25mm spacers on so hopefully the arches will be filled just right too! So no major dmage to the car in terms of scraping then or holes in the exhaust etc?
  5. From reading your thread mate, when you say less than a fist to the front lip do you mean the plastic black think undeneath the bumper or the actual lip of the front bumper itself? I'm desperate to get mnie lowered but as the plastic black lip already catches on mie going over speed bumps (particurlaly those nasty black/yellow one's) I'm a bit nervous! The plastic chin spoiler mate not the actual bumper itself. The front mud guards are the lowest point and they are literally an inch off the floor. They even hit when cornering hard lol. Haha! That's not too bad then! Could always shave those down a bit, or I guess the floor will eventually do that for you lol! Do you have any experience of them going over those horrible black and yellow plastic speed bumps? I know that's very specific but there a set of 5 of those that I go over twice a day, my old 350 used to catch on them all and don't want to be doing the same on a much newer car I know exactly what you mean mate and unfortunately they are the worse. Depends how big they are but you will bottom out on some of them. Luckily its the chassis that catches on the 70 and not the Y pipe like the 50. Ah that's not too bad then cos I did rip a few holes in my old 350's exhaust which was my main concern with lowering this! Hopefully get away with it then when I get round too it! Have you had problems with the camber and tyre wear since lowering?

  7. Yeah exactly, compared to what most trimmers will charge you for a wheel to be done it's a bargain and I can't imagine anyone ever beating his work! Like I say, one of my favourite mods as I think it gives the whole interior a much classier/German feel!
  8. Yeah I think I got the base price off by £10, you weren't over charged don't worry
  9. Did you buy these one's in the end??

  11. Could be from the same place here: http://www.350z-uk.c...-trimmed-wheel/ Hope Scott doesn't mind me butting in here to answer your question, but when I had mine done at Christmas time it was £110 I think for a basic retrim, an extra £10 for the alcantara sides I had on mine and and extra £50 for the flat bottom re-profile (which isn't possible on all wheels). Also I did an exchange with him so paid a £50 deposit for him to do the work on another 370z wheel he sourced and then I just sent him my standard one back one I had fitted the new one and got the £50 refunded! Top service from him! http://royalsteeringwheels.com/
  12. Looks great bud! I used Jack for my 370 wheel too and it's still one of my favourite mods to any of my cars as I've always thought the wheels on both Z's I've had has been very cheap and tacky but the retrim (and flat bottom on mine) makes a huge difference!
  13. I was just wondering about cost, difference between this and an uprev, expected gains and if the launch control works on the auto? Also, does it cure things like the throttle response and speed at which the car drops revs?
  14. Did you ever get anymore info on this from one of the traders? Would be curious to know about the ECUTEK and the launch control etc?
  15. Front end it a buit too fussy, don't like the air ducts and would prefer the lipt to be flat. Other than that love the side intakes and LED's. Love the wings too. Any full shots of the rear?
  16. Been looking for s while, ideally wanted a 1:18 die cast in blue of course but that doesn't seem to exist? If that is the case, then I have found a 1:24 Masito one for sale which looks okay but probably isn't great quality being Masito! So, any idea if there is a 1:18 model available here or in the states? Cheers
  17. did re-burning the discs work then ? I didn't do them myself, unless you mean that you did? If so then thanks becuase the spare disc 2&3 did indeed work when the older one's didn't so job done!
  18. Also, I've managed to do mine now so I have 1 set ready to pass on!
  19. Problem solved! Found a spare disc 2 with the set, I guess the original disc 2 I was using is damaged so wouldn't tead. So updated the software again and then carried on with the new disc 2. All done now! Cheers
  20. Got that menu up but no option to reset anything for the Nav Do you think disconnecting the battery for a while will do anything? If that does reset it will I need the HU code?
  21. Great, thanks for that mate! Will give it a go once I get back to the car!
  22. Recently tried updating the maps on my sat nav using the disks very kindly being passed round the users here. Long story short I misread the first step and tried updating the maps before updating the software first. Now the only thing I can use is the audio on the connect premium as restarting the update process doesn't work and I can't access the settings, sat nav or anything else any ideas??
  23. So, I've cocked it up. Anyone who has done this may be able to help here. I misread the current version on my nav and in the first step I didn't update the software as I thought my current one was more recent than the one on the disc. Anyway, carried don with the maps update, after disk 1 took an hour to complete I moved onto disk to at which point it didn't read the disc properly and said "Update did not finish normally, please restart." So tried going back to step 1 and restarting but now it won't let me into the settings to turn bluetooth on/off and althought it has let me use the software dis to update that, it won't accept niether disc 1 or 2 of the maps! Complete **** up but does anyone know a way to reset it maybe?
  24. Very nice! Do like both of those! Does the non carbon add on spoiler have the same profile as the one above?
  25. Do you still do these rear spats? I may be interested in the future? Still trying to decide on a front lip berore I buy!
