  1. Any idea roughly when you'll have details of the DA up for sale mate? Only asking now as I'm watching a couple on eBay which are ending this week but also considering just buying a new one in a package deal from CYC.com.
  2. Drop me a line when you do buddy with the details as I may well be interested! Any idea when you'll be selling?
  3. Cheers all! Plenty to read up on and think about. I'm trying to weigh up whether or not it's worth the investment in the polisher/pads etc which would mean I could obviously detail the car more than once or pay the extra to get it done by a pro. This looks like a pretty good start pack to me? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kestrel-DAS6-DA-Polisher-with-2-Meguiars-Pads-and-Meguiars-105-and-205-/121768932379?_trksid=p2054897.l4275 Is that a good price for the package and are those Megs pads/compounds polishes any good and suitable for a beginner? I already have a couple of different waxes I've used myself and quite happy with them.
  4. I've been thinking about buying a decent but reasonably price DA polisher to have a go of some minimal paint correction on my car. I know that I'd be better off taking it to a professional but I like having a go of things myself when I can and desperately want to sort my paint out but with MOT, service, tyres and new springs just forked out for I don't want to pay the big amounts I've been quoted to get it corrected. The correction needed isn't major, just the usual swirls from washing the car etc. Is it possible to have a go as a weekend warrior without risking ruining my car? Anyway, can anyone recommend the products (polisher, cutting agent, polish etc) I could use or have a guide for beginners or would the general consensus to be not to risk damaging my paint further? Cheers, Josh
  5. Great, now I'm starving after those shots of the BBQ! Nice vid though I am liking this car more and more, the green is growing on me it's just the colour clash with the wheels that puts me off!
  6. Yeah I suppose not too bad a price compared to others, it is the nicest I've seen I think but once you pay tax I think it would be more than the new, fairly similar looking, 2015 Nismo spoiler. Think I had a price of about £400 on that from Nissan and I'm sure that would be better quality and fit.
  7. Finally had a couple of very short and pretty unhelpful responses but eventually managed to get a straight answer from them. Price is $375 + $190 shipping from UAE, not sure about import charges etc but I guess that would be paid in the UK. The price is fairly reasonable I think but shipping is fairly costly!
  8. Did you get a quote? Nope, they never got back to me But you have reminded me to chase them up
  9. Look awful to me, a throw back to the days when 'Lexus' lights were all the rage. Looks tacky imo!
  10. This came in the car when I bought it from the BMW dealership, I can only assume that the parts guys at BMW ordered one from Nissan for me but got the wrong one as it looks brand new to me. I just never got around to asking them to change it as I wasn't bothered about having one. Anyway, it's no use to me and I've had it in my spare room since I bought the car and it's taken me nearly 9 months to get round to posting this No marks or damage to it so going by some other prices online I'm going to say £45 ono posted to mainland UK Part number for anyoe who wants to double check the fit... Cheers, Josh
  11. Need to get my hands on one of those and a similar diffuser from that same car Dropped carbonsignal a mail for a quote for the spoiler!
  12. Posted this as a duplicate sorry mods, please delete this once if you can
  13. Yeah I thought I looked like a cleaner version of the rocket bunny one! Similar to a classic Porsche too yeah! Looking at this I think it's the CS moonbeam one... http://www.carbonsignalauto.com/moonbeam-items.html
  14. Spotted this on an instagram post and did ask the owner but no reply. Does anyone know what it is or have more photo's of it? Hard to tell exactly from this angle but looks almost spot on for what I've been after for months, a kind of duckbill shape but the top and bottom moulded around the boot panel....
  15. Still in the original gloss black that they come in as standard. I believe these came from CS orignially. I bought them from a member on here back at the start of the year. They have never been properly fitted to a car, only test fitted by the previous owner I believe. Change of plans for my car means I no longer want them. They have been sitting in my spare room since I bought them. They are essentially brand new with not 1 mark or scratch on them, only some sticky tape residue from the test fit. I will attempt to carefully remove this with hot water before posting, either way it's on an area that won't be at all visible when fitted. I believe these sell new for approx £210 so I am asking £140 ono posted to mainland UK. Pics aren't the best I'm afraid and I was strugglign to get my username in with a full shot of them due to lighting, can supply more pics if requested. Thanks, Josh
  16. Still in the standard gloss black that they come in. I bought these second hand but they have never been really used or fitted to a car, only test fitted by the first owner who I believe bought them from CS. I had every intention of fitting these until my plans for the car changed so they've been sitting in my spare room since the start of the year. No damage to them at all, only a small amount of sticky tape reside near the screw holes which you might not be able to see in the pics. I will attempt to remove it with some warm water before posting but either way it won't be at all visible when fitted anyhow. Pics aren't the best as I struggled to get a full pic with my name in due to the light and iPhone camera. These are £210 on Tarmac's website I believe and as they are in a brand new condition I'm asking £140 ono posted to mainland UK. And how they look fitted, hope Tarmac doesn't mind me stealing his piccy..
  17. You have PM Would you mind dropping em amesage with the rough cost too mate? I did email that company a while back but no reply yet
  18. I've dropped them an email requesting a quote for mine, have to let me know what you think of the work once you get them back! I assume you just have to manage without headlights for the time being, he doesn't offer an exchange service like Royal Steering wheels? Really like the style of the solid LED strips/bars on the Astra on his website but can't think of a nice design that would work well on the 370 Yeah I know what you mean about getting the visuals spot on first! I think a wrap would look good, I wouldn't chose white myself but it's all personal prefwrence I guess! I'd be tempted to go for something like Nardo grey on your car, like you see on new R8's. Would suit the look prefectly I think!
  19. Lights look very cool! Love the LED bars as opposed to having LED strips! Can I ask where you'remhaving them done? It's one of the biggest things that bugs me about my car is the silver headlights! Nice pics too. If it was me I wouldn't go for air ride. As awesome as it looks I think the current stance perfectly suits the whole kind of track/race style of the car. A respray would be more beneficial I think or maybe boost?
