  3. Call Taras at RT Performance. They have done all the work on my z and are top guys producing superb results..
  4. Ian Stop teasing us all. Get one out the box and post a pic. Its like your parents putting your present under the tree as soon as the tree is up and having to stare at it for weeks on end.. Come on, its Christmas...
  5. It's not a show stopper either way. The plastic is soft so marks up if people are wearing rings or a careless with keys. Can be plasti dipped, wrapped etc etc. I would say that unless you are a forum member you wouldnt even know this can be an issue. There will be plenty of excellent examples that may have scrathced switch covers. Wouldnt say the person doesnt know the car or is lying. Anyway, moving on.... Good luck sourcing your z
  6. Welcome, great cars and fun to mod if thats a route you want to go down. Not sure i would walk away from a z with a scratched inside drivers door. Its common and can easily be fixed. Take your time sourcing your z as there are plenty of good examples around.
  7. Have you considered wrapping it ?.
  8. Welcome. Have a safe journey back. Hope you have a healthy wallet for the petrol bill.
  9. £4100 is very cheap either way so for around £5.5k you could have a decent z. Well done again though mate for taking it on the chin and being mature about your mistake.. Hope you remain in the z world.. Martin
  10. Very sad story and I feel for what appears to be a genuine guy who has been very green on this occassion. The car cost £4k which was underpriced in the first instance. Stick a new engine in it for £1500 and you have still spent less than £6k on buying your z. I would be enraged but at the end of the day you have made a massive schoolboy error and unfortunatley are paying the price. You can still put it right..
  11. I put a post up on this 2 years ago as i had issues. The solution is easy. File down the rim (housing) of each plastic clip with sandpaper/file so they are flush and the bonnet will close without issue. Dont over engineer the problem. Its enough to make the difference. Martin
  12. Mitz, Only just seen this. Happy Birthday. Hope you have had a stress free day. Martin
