Doubt many on here would care for a Nissan stamped book. I'd rather have a good Indy stamp any day & that goes for most manufactures IMO. You'll be talking about small change at the end of the day between a tuned MPS & a zed for servicing & running costs.

Thruxton Italian super car experience Ferrari 458 & Lamborghini LP and you start off in a Porsche cayman. Very fast track, instructors encourage. On the day I did it there was a bit of a Que built for the super cars so they threw in some single car sessions for free which I have to agree was the best bit. I was screaming like a girl! (screams of joy of course!)

HR's are £490 a year tax but in the grand scheme of things it's not that big a deal. Just one less pint a week!

if your budget goes to 12k then a good HR it should be IMO. I would say you'd be very surprised by running and maintenance costs of the zed after the MPS stage 2. Are you looking now or in the new year? Where are you based? Earlier cars are DE engined later cars prior to 370z's are HR engined so from 2007-2009. You can tell them apart as the HR has twin intakes and a bulge in the bonnet. HR engine has 80% different internal parts to DE including taller block hence the need for a bonnet bulge even though they lowered the engine mounts.

This may be a dumb question but a friend of mine has joined recently and is keen to start contributing however he is having difficulty posting his first post. He has tried to contact mods but is unsure if this is getting through either. What does he have to do before he can post? I can't remember having to do anything when I joined. I did a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Any thoughts on this yet Ewen? Wondering what to get my zed for Xmas but holding out for whatever group buy you decide on first
