you have it all wrong.... there is no better way to spend your money and get fulfilment..... i quote the late great George Best "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered" Indeed. However, current, said Muff has had a lot of time and effort invested into it and I'll be dammed if I'm starting out again. As fun as that is. I feel old and weary now any new muff will take time to tame. I feel any new fulfilment will be diluted somewhat by the required effort. Therefor, straight into the bank account please.

When I was selling my S2000 the guy started bartering with me as expected and said; "£1000 less than asking for cash ??" My response was; "What else were you expecting to pay me with ??" Cash is king means nothing regards private sales.

Lol, looking at this and seeing those Rad and Oil caps above reminded me that I actually have them, totally forgot all about them, they're not even on the car !!! So yeah, not really done anything with this at all, done about 3000 miles since I bought it in May and it's not moved for about a week. Again. I have been to Spa, Nurburgring and an airfield day though so she's getting used for what was intended, albeit less than I wanted too and not exactly all going to plan. Been super busy with a million things over the summer and autumn so it was sort of expected not to be as deep into her as I wanted. Things are on the up though. New year and things can start to get back to normal. Mrs came home from work and asked me to check one of my Christmas presents as she wanted it to be correct ; GoProHero3 - Black Edition. YES !!! This one is the tÃts, full fat, Mega HD, silly 4K resolution motorsport edition - better than I was expecting to be honest, has to go under the tree though so no lurking bedtime vids yet. As well as this I have a few plans, little bit of cosmetic stuff but then most of my time intends to be on track, now this isn't going to be stripped out track car nor a amateur racer, just a normal car that I'm going to track and enjoy, hopefully with the intention of getting as much fun out of it as possible. This isn't my daily, Greater Anglia is. Maybe some ARB's to stiffen her up in the bends a bit and some geo to get rid of that factory understeer she has off the shelf, which is nasty. Exhaust to follow too (unsure on what yet), but I want to get this right, I want one exhaust, to go on the car and stay on the car, I'm done with modding to the point where you switch stuff about and I'm also done with mapping, the car is plenty quick for me as it is and I'll learn to drive to it's current limits before I start thinking I need more power. Intakes, hhhmmmm maybe, just for sound though really and if any probably Stillen Gen 3's. Might try and get an afternoon at Brands or something too soon, or a few more airfield days, at £50 it's awesome value for money. Other than that it's my 30th in a few months, my girl is nagging my ass to put a ring on it and I'll be at Spa in April.

Yes they are. Not 100% sure about performance but visually the cars are all different styles and livery's, all loaded up form saved styles form the marketplace. Much better than just racing against OEM coloured cars.

What are you currently doing / done / or thinking about doing ???

Auditing. Well, trying too, just can't find the ummmmpppphhhhfffff. Doing it for the rest of the week too. -
What was the outcome on this then ?? Do you still think the auto box in the 370Z is a good as the new F Type ?? You going to go for it ??
-
Nice man. Great to see more 370's appearing on here .
-
Wow at Nissan's price. ps - How did you kill your battery then ??

Even if mates owe me money I prefer to have them drop it into my account online as opposed to cash. Cash I fritter away on muff, if its in my account it's guaranteed to stay there longer or have a better fulfilment come of it. If I sold a car and someone gave me an envelope with £10'000 the first thing I'd need to do would be to put it in the bank, so for me it makes perfect sense to receive payment straight into my account.

Yeah, it is annoying having toy use a 3mm Jack to hook up your iPhone, I find more than it being a pain for switching the track you lose an awful lot of quality doing that .
-
Sounds like a step in the right direction. On a purely vain perspective of mine, this is a very good thing . Also, the months DD option is a good idea, although it irks me that you have to pay 5% extra just because you're unable to afford the whole £475 amount in one lump. Take from the poor, to feed the…... I always tend to, where possible, pay for my insurance and TAX in one annual whack, that way I can budget better for my motoring. As long as I can justify annual TAX and insurance for under £1000 then it's a goer for me, anything more and it's not worth it.

Exhausts are real personal preference mate. Massively. YouTube will give you a rough idea of what is what but other than that it will have to be real life audio experiences that will make it upo for you, otherwise you'll be risking buying without hearing. Personal preference for me is subtle but deep, as it's a V6 I want that burble, but not like a 9" Supra can. Deep burble with a high end rasp is what I think is best - What I think is best, not the best. You could always leave the exhaust system stock and get some HFC (High Flow CAT's) that will release more audible delights and will still maintain the Nissan sound with a deeper tone. Other than that personal systems that I have heard and think sound good are the ARK, HKS and the Akrapovic systems. When the time comes however I won't be dropping £1000+ on a system that I've not heard with my own ears. All that said, almost ANY aftermarket system on the 370Z will be a major improvement IMO.

That's odd, I don't think I've done any super mini races, I've done about 6 races of the career. Yes, very. Also is annoying that when you pass the pad to someone else, it will sometimes boot you to dash as it recognises the change of user and wants to sign in the other player. You can disable all that though. If you go into settings and then into Kinect, you can disable auto recognition sign in so that it won't do that. Ever since I've done that I don't have any issues like that .

Boom !!! Got it, I remember know why it wouldn't work for me, I'd recently moved and they were unable to confirm my telephone number for some reason so internet banking was unable to call me to confirm the payment. That's why I couldn't set it up online and had to call them to set it up but could then log on and make the payment. Yes, all coming back to me know, .
-
Cool man, let us know how it goes .

Cool concept, love to see these become reality. A lot of noise about the lack of a new Silvia range. IMO a new Silvia would overshoot the aim of that new RWD lightweight market of the BRZ/GT86 etc….
-
If you spin, two feet in. LFB is just to stabilise the car under HEAVY breaking with a big load. In my eyes it suits FWD cars better anyway as you tend to approach corners in a different way, well I do anyway. RWD in slow out fast, FWD just in fast out fast, lol. Like I said, it's not something I tend to actively do, so I hardly know how best to apply it.

Soooo much quicker manual, even on a pad. All times have to be clean to count too .
-
There we are then, it's a random nightmare. Don't see why the limit should depend on the person but when I was trying to pay for my car via the call back internet banking option it said no, maybe it was a £15'000 limit, I forget but I certainly couldn't pay the full amount that way. Ended up calling them and doing it the way I described above.
-
For payments up to £5000 mate. I bank with Lloyds too. I had that issue when I bought my 370Z. I went mental down the phone as internet banking was saying no. Ending up speaking to a manager and he gave me a work around. As I had Phonebanking, which is the old service before Internet banking was the thing, he could set up the payment for me that way over the phone and it would be approved for a higher transfer limit (£25000), then I could log onto internet banking and the payment option to that new person would be there and I could do it that way. Got there in the end but it was the key fact that that option of the call back payment set up is limited to payments of £5000, per day.
