  1. Oh and if anyone wants to buy a digital copy of FIFA 14 from me drop me a PM. I play Pro you see so it useless to me .
  2. I was having trouble understanding the dashboard, it was annoying me that I couldn't just quit a game, then I discovered that if you press start or 'menu' as it's now called on the Apps on the dashboard it brings up a menu for options of that tile. Forza - Insane. The new race real peoples ghosts thing has just changed driving games for ever. BF4 - Broken, good game but pointless without the service it needs to matchmaker. Dashboard - Good now that I've worked it out and it's still only BETA Part chat - Broken, it's being patched today apparently.
  3. Best launch title ever, without doubt in my eyes was Super Mario Brothers on the NES.
  4. Yeah, one year I had, hail, rain and sun all in one lap . We used to book the early April date with Circuit Days but now we do the June, it's a bit more but you've more chance of having ideal weather, so in all, it's worth it I think. Plus it's nice sitting about in the sun with a beer after !!!!!
  5. Ha ha, yeah, stupid phone, lol. It was supposed to read; "our communal, go to track, for hot lapping and chatting" Re: Spa, yeah, love it there. Booking again soon for next year, that'll be 4 years on the bounce then. This time I'll get the 370Z on there as this year I bought it two weeks before we went and all the track time was booked up, even on the day no one pulled out or didn't show, which was a Sod's law first !!
  6. Yeah, any purpose built PC will walk over any console I'm sure. I think it's also easier to 'make' driving games look good, take nothing away from that, they can only make good what they're working with but the flow of the game is easier to make look natural than say a FPS. My mates Mrs is constantly telling him he has to get rid of his CSR Elite, so any PC will have to be build on the low down and smuggled into his den.
  7. Maple Valley was out go to communist hot lap track where we'd just lap and chat and post times. One of the boys got into the top 50 IIRC, (full manual, W/C), so that was a personal fav circuit, plus it looked nice . But yeah, Suzuka is another big loss for me, Tsukuba meh, Ring meh, but I'd sack them all off just for Spa. As it stands I've done more laps at Spa in real life than I have virtually, so I'm looking forward to that big time, I don't play F1 you see.
  8. I got a text from Game earlier saying that my Xbox One is ready and waiting to be sent out, lol. Didn't even know they had my number !! Forza seems to be getting good reviews, the new AI, or not so AI I suppose is getting some grief mind but I kind of like the randomness about it and it's getting a bashing for only 14 circuits. And they left out Maple Valley !!!!!!!
  9. Yeah, I make you right. This is my mates Fanatec rig.
  10. I think it was a 'hope' that the old wheels would work with the new console, everyone knew that new tech would be used. My mate with the CSR Elite was resigned to it not working from day one. He plans to build a PC now solely for driving sims and his wheel. It is something else mind you.
  11. Oh yeah, well that's an obvious choice but if the adapter cost £100 like mentioned, it would at least offer an alternative, albeit expensive, choice for their customers. Like I said, they're in a pretty good boat from where I'm standing.
  12. Fishy. Unless they've just read the VLN number at the base of the windscreen and checked that for parts fitted to that car. In terms of checking part numbers I mean.
  13. Yeah, it's an odd sort of win win for them. They can blame MS for for not using old tech, then they can charge another £500 for a new wheel.
  14. Whoa cowgirl, cool your jets !! I never said it was better or is better, I simply shared the story about a new car and it's aims. Your the one that appears to know it all before it's even finished testing. I like cars, there's a few people on here that do too, I thought it might be interesting for some. As it happens, yes, I do like Honda, I came from Honda cars, as for working for them, no. With Honda getting back into F1 again, their BTCC experience and their current R&D with performance turbo's they could make decent car this time round, whether it will beat the wonderful Renault to Honda's set target only time will tell, it's good fun though, if I'm wrong you can dig me out on here, if that's what your into.
  15. Yeah, you're right. I mean, why even bother trying I suppose.
  16. Oh and this is the new Civic Type R, which is going through the final stage of testing. 4 Pot, VTEC, Turbo, lol, just under 300hp and 400nm of torque. The car is suppose to focus on poise and agility other than all out raw power, which is pretty much what all quick Honda's have been about, bar maybe the HSV . Loving the 80's graphics on the side.
  17. Yes, have to agree on the TCS comment. The car really feels more alive with it off and you feel more connected to input and output. An obvious statement maybe but it had more of an affect than I was expecting.
  18. For people that have a Fanatec.
  19. Handles well, gives good feedback and has a large amount of grip - was my assumption. I found it had quite a bit of understeer but this is dailed in I think as a safety feature by Nissan, nothing a bit of geo wouldn't balance out to your liking. Never driven a TT so can't really compare, although if the TT is AWD it will be a lot different.
