So yeah, a mate of mine came over on the weekend and brought with him Ryse on the Xbox One. He'd been bleating on about how this was rather good and that he got it for Christmas off his wife, albeit short, he said it was a hoot, looked great and that I should give it a go. Put it on at about 2PM and turned it off at 10:30PM after playing it straight the way through until me and my housemate had finished it. We played it on the hardest available setting, to give it a bit of a challenge and knowing that it was a short game anyway would give it a bit more life. Very enjoyable, fantastically visual and graphic game. It was a nice change of pace for me as these, button sequence, timed event games I normally swerve. We finished it after about 8 hours I'd say, that's constant pad passing between lives, stages and toilet breaks. The only real sticky bit we had was about an hour of trying to fight/work out/beat Commodous and his Mirror match style fight. Now that we finished it on hard, we unlocked the harder setting, so we'll go back and play through again I think, even more so that you carry across your stats, unlocks and XP through playthroughs. I'd maybe not recommend paying £49.99 for it, but if you can borrow it from someone or get it on the cheap, it's a very enjoyable, pretty game.

What are they like at 170mph ??
-
Yes, I'll probably be in Belgium/Germany in early April, I'll have an exahust by then for sure. I kind of want one fitted and starting to bed in by the end of the month really .
-
Good information and very true sir, not sure I can hang out that long however.

I haven’t heard anything from Injen that I think sounds better than the ARK so far, that said I've heard nothing in real life but going off video's I prefer the ARK. Not an ideal situation but a reality unfortunatly. Nope, I don't have a pit or any sort of facility where I could fit an exhaust, let alone the required tools if I come across a seized bolt or anything that requires anything other than exploded diagrams. I also won't be able to lug the thing around trying to find somewhere to fit it, so again, drive in, drive out is the ideal, maybe I can get it sent to TGM and go from there.

Yeah, I'm in cahoots with Tarmac and know Tom and the team down at TGM very well, I ideally wanted a drive in drive out service but we'll see.

Carbon Signal Group buy Interest - Duck bills and more

Missed this thread. I want the FRP duckbill for the 370Z. I also want an exhaust. -
I'm down to a HKS or an ARK for my 370. Fed up of waiting around for a 2nd hand one, probably going to take the plunge this month. Where are people getting their systems bought and fitted ??
-
Universal, intercontinental fitment probably, although I know what you're saying. I had a sticky plate on my last car and just stuck it over the holes, I kind of expected it to last a few months at best. It lasted years, lol.
-
I have the same issue, moving from a Honda box to the 370Z was a shock, although honestly you will get used to it. I'm unsure whether an oil chnage would fix it to be honest, feels more mechanical, it's just the way the box is. What I will suggest is try chnaging at a higer RPM, it goes in easier, I do this now and it's much better. Dont have to rev the nuts off it, but a bit longer in first, still nice and smooth and it will make it feel less jerky.

Yeah, I think you're right about the sensor being located in the light cluster. It is the correct screen for the car, I specifically made them check what they were fixing to the car, to the point that when I dropped the car off they showed me the screen with the sensor area in the top of the screen ready to be fitted. That said, besides telling me that it's the correct screen and showing it too me, I have to assume it's the correct one. The sensor is there, I can see it on/under the screen, it's just not working, or so it seems. Mines a '59 plate GT model, so it's a pretty early model.

Well yeah, thats the obvious thing to do, they've closed now, not sure how much I can be fcudek to bother with it though. Take it out again, yadda yadda. Kinda half tempted to leave as is.

So I had this swapped out today by AutoGlass in Chelmsford, very accommodating and the fitment appears to be good. However, my rain sensors no longer work, I've sat there and tried and tried to get them to move but nothing. They shift when the stork is adjusted for either the Auto setting or the speed/intensity settings are adjusted but then nothing. Even in the rain we've having today, not a sniff. I've had the manual out and searched for a system reset switch or something but nothing. Not really sure what to do now, they appear to have done it wrong, or the rain sensor bit anyway. It's not the end of the world but now a feature on my car appears to no longer work.

Yeah man, proper Nintendo thing too, so works seamlessly and is a quality product. About £20 I think. Not all games work with it, as not all games require triggers or dual analogues, although it's worth leaving on as it makes it so much more comfortable to hold.
-
I got the new Zelda:Link between worlds and a Nintendo Circle Pad Pro for my 3DS from my Mrs Mother for Christmas, lol. The game is great, really good and brings back a lot of memories from the old SNES game while still managing to feel new and surprising. The CPP is great, besides giving true dual analogues for games like Resident Evil it also makes the 3DS-XL feel better in hand, or rather adult hands, lololololololol.

Well yeah, it's not sorted yet but like you say, at least it will be. If it hadn't have gone this winter I was kind of expecting it to next yeah after a few track days. The bloke that filled it said he was unsure when he was working on it so it was always in the back of my mind. I'm going to take the car into one of their branches and let them work on it there, don't really want them doing it on my drive in the wind and rain.

So yeah, I had a stone chip filled back in May, the guy that did it said he wasn't sure if it would last and well, it didn't. Spoke to Autoglass who did the initial repair and once they have established that it was the repaired chip that went (it's pretty obvious) they'll swap the screen out. Pretty gutted to be honest, as I'm wary that once they take the roof off and do all the necessary work, it will never go back as good and I might be left with a less than perfect screen and surroundings but hey ho, no real choice in the matter I suppose. Cracking.

Speed Hunters have some fantastic articles, I read this a while back and enjoyed it a lot. Great idea to share.

Good thread. Once these RE050's are gone, I'll consider these for the 370. Given the limited mileage I do and the fact the car is just a toy for OEM amateur track use these may well be ideal. I was going to ask your opinion on tyres more nearer the required time anyway Ekona but by the sounds of things you'd probably recommend these anyway. Road noise is irritating but if the general feel is as good as you say, then I can look past that.

I check the oil in my 370Z as often as I remember, religiously maintained by Motorline Tunbridge Wells all it's life and never needs a top up. Don't stop me feeling that ever so para about it though. Coming from Honda, where oil is such a fundamental thing for more than heat distribution and lube, I have it now ingrained in me. I use the Magnatec Pro MP 5W-30 as a top up, which ML give out in those cool little care packs. I've done about 5000 miles since the last service I think and the next one is due in April, I very much doubt I'll do another 4000 miles until then, so I'm happy to keep topping until then, even though it's a tad black at the mo. Got some more track days coming up in the new year so I'll get it down to ML before then anyway. Regards fuel, I always try and put the highest Octane in, Shell V-Power. There’s a BP opposite my home, which on occasion I use if I have too but only to get me to the nearest Shell. Driving back to Wales today for Christmas, so I’ll be dipping my stick before I set off for sure. And checking the oil in the car.

I'll be back at home tomorrow so I'll dig out what I have man and let you know . Cake - Right, I've looked through EVERYTHING I have and I can't find a single mention of it anywhere but I'm sure that when I bought it I was told that the battery had been changed and something replaced as it was draining the battery, a common fault apparently . Sorry man, maybe someone else can shed some light on this ??

Like you said, I'm having trouble getting the required 8 players for a LAN mate. Even if we upload it to ClanForge I doubt I'll get 8 players, 5 max I'd have thought . I'll bear it in mind though if the opportunity ever presents itself .

What body parts would you like to see next year

That's a no then ?? I'm ordering front and rear splash guards from Nissan, painted(Le Mans Blue) and fitted, I just thought you may offer a similar service, if so, I'd have probably come to you but if you don't, that's cool. Is the Wing something you'd be able to get hold of do you think or would you need a minimum order of 5 like you said previously about the Amuse bumpers ?? -

Cake spotted it first to be fair and has actually ordered and taken receipt of one, so credit to him really. Ever since he posted it up it's grown on me.
