  1. I have this system on my 370Z - It sounds fantastic. Great fitting and sounding system, quality is top draw too.
  2. 160 mile round trip from Essex to Whipsnade yesterday got me this. I was kind of trying though, or rather, being aware not to keep blatting the throttle for a quick grin. Pretty pleased if I'm honest.
  3. Good move. If you ever have a shadow of a doubt, walk away. If something don't feel right, it more often than not, isn't .
  4. If the gage If the age of the internet has brought us anything, its brought people the opportunity to listen to what that choose to like, or find new things that they like. I can't begin to imagine how shallow my library would be if it wasn't for Grokster/Limewire etc...
  5. It'll only get better too. As it cokes up and settles in to will develop into a much better sound.
  6. Who's is the silver '70 in the background ?? Did the Z-Shed finally get one ??
  7. Ah, that reputable Nissan garage looks familiar...
  8. Because if I drove all the way to Germany and fancied another lap, or sod it, 2 more laps of the Ring, I want to feel that I could and it would be in budget. Look, whatever, but if someone asked me how much it would cost for a trip to Germany for 3-4 days, I'd say earmark £1000. We obviously do it differently.
  9. Since your drop and spacers have you had your Geo checked ??
  10. Plus, yeah, Ferry, pah!!, sod that, takes hours, just pay the extra £40 and get the train only takes 30 minutes then.
  11. Yeah, still sure. Ok, yours add's up to £790 You need a £1000 to be comfortable I reckon. Also, you got all the way there and back, while doing laps, on just 2 and half tanks of fule ??? Doing to WRONG.
  12. You want something new ?? You want a sound ?? Listen to this, you'll hate it but it's what I'm in too and from your music selection I'd put you at about 7-10 years older than me, so about 37-40. El-P(Hip-Hop) doing alive session with NIN guitarist I think, as well as a few others. Spice of life and all that.
  13. ^^^^^ Not that I've ever been to the Wales meet or similar 350Z organised mega meet, just saying what we as a group of mates always earmark for any euro trip.
  14. Anywhere in Europe will cost a £1000. Crossings. Petrol. Accommodation. Money for stuff. Making it long enough to make it worthwhile (3 days +).
  15. Yeah, she'd end me if she knew . Trying to hold off booking this too....... http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car-home/event-details.aspx?productid=2297 .......few of the lads are doing it .
  16. Tonight Matthew, I am.... I'm supposed to be over in Burnham, for a BBQ and a drink with the lads and WAG's but I've been presented with this.... Not a very well Mrs at all. So we're staying in and I'm drinking in front of screens instead. Winning .
  17. Yeah, well, it's anyones guess to why we weren't allow we to use our front mounted cameras to be honest, bit of a weird one. When I said that I had my toe hook fixed on the rear, he stated that some cars are unable to be towed out backwards; it was a battle I was never going to win, like I said, even the guy that gave the briefing from MSV tried to have a further word to give it at the all clear and he still came back with the same answer, perhaps something and happened the day before or he dropped his hub nob in his tea at lunch. Meh, I was a bit mad but my mate was even more MAD as he'd been through hell to get his mount through customs in time for the day. I had my suction cup inspected but as it was a genuine GoPro mount rated to 160mph, they allowed it, lol, Brands have always been a bit funny about cameras and stuff though apparently. I arrived in shorts and t shirt, the guy then said to me I'll have to hire overalls and pointed towards the desk. I just said its cool and that I have a bag with trackie bottoms and long T in there, then he said to just make sure I cover my legs . Regards, Oil temps, yeah, they do climb pretty quick, they seemed to stay at around 125 for a while and peaked for me at about 132 I think. I tried leaving the car in higher gears, only getting into 2nd for Druids, which seemed to keep things lower for longer and gave me better pace. I would like a proper cooler though, it will be killer if it keeps me from staying out at say Spa, I'll do some research and see what's what I think, Might do Snetterton next month, not sure yet, will see how stuff turns out, got loads on at the mo, Mrs is getting the hump . One good thing from the non front mount came, in his anger my mate fixed his to his rear and got some pretty cool footage of my vid above but from the rear of his car .
  18. http://www.350z-uk.c...goodwood-today/ http://www.350z-uk.c...-s-pics-part-i/ http://www.350z-uk.c...-s-pics-part-2/ http://www.350z-uk.c...-s-pics-part-3/ Thanks, you just did all the hard work Looks fantastic!!! Extreme though.... Like a concept should really.
  19. HA !! What's the story behind this then ?? Oh and the too much money Nissan is fat but rad. Just like this.
  20. Had an evening session at Brands Hatch yesterday and it was great fun. The heat took its toll though and kept me to a minimum of about 5/6 laps per session until I had to come in as my tyres were going off or my oil temp was high. I also managed to cook my clutch and it probably shortened to about a 3rd of what it usually is, it soon release back to normal on the way home. Left the traction on, as with it off, I would have destroyed the tyres real quick and perhaps brought my day to an end too quick, although it was quite inhibitive coming in quite a lot on the way out of every bend. The grip this thing gives is still surprising and the diff works well to get you round bends with confidence. Brakes were good, on a heavy use circuit, only once going into Clearways did I wish I had a bit more but I just adjusted my braking style to compensate on the next lap and it wasn't a problem again. Each and every time I went out my lap times were tumbling which was encouraging to see as the car became more familiar and more comfortable to drive hard, while still keeping things the right side of pushing on. All in all though, it was another great track day in the '70. Lets not forget too that this is a OEM car, OK, it has an exhaust but this is out of the factory chassis and power wise and is an absolute joy to drive on circuit which performs well IMO. One downer point was that one of the MSV stewards took an offence too; front toe hook mounted GoPro's. Even if you had a rear toe hook attached. It even caused the MSV team to have a bit of a private chat about it but the answer was still the same - Remove it. Gutted. So I just used my sucker mount and got a little bit of in car footage. My mate got a quick sound grab of a pass by too so I could get a earful of the ARK GRiP. It got HOT Pit garage selfie The cars (135i) The offending camera mount When the ARK gets HOT, it gets excited and grows !!! Bit of in car footage, had to arrange this quick, so the view isn't the best... Sound clip
