  1. I reckon I'd be quicker with an auto on track. I didn't like the auto box on the Nissan as much as I needed to, so I played it safe with the manual.
  2. Hey man, yeah thanks for the extra heads up on Brands I'll bear that in mind. Slippery, lol, I'll tell you about slippery, one year at the Ring on a miserable (but dry) day in April, after a VLN race, they opened the circuit for tourists, being extra keen as we had some people with us who'd never been before we did a few calm siting laps for a laugh. I was coming into the downhill right as you enter Brunchen section, drifted out wide, ever so slightly not to take too much of a an aggressive line in and just lost the back of my S2000 completely on what I can only assume we're the marbles from the race. The car was gone, literally looking across my passengers chest out of the passenger window. Opposite lock and a touch of power did sweet FA, so I just went two feet in and braced. That feeling of a light car and the ABS crunching away is a great one isn't it. Managed to slide the car (unintentionally) all the way round the bend with the nose kissing the apex of the curb (splitting the splitter) then coming to a rest back on the straight leading up to the famous Brunchen car grave yard. As you can image it was greeted with great rapture from the crowds that gather there . Now, that was slippery !! Getting back on the horse the next day was tough . Er, Brands is on the 3rd July I think, evening open pit event, I've got some tuition booked too which will be cool. Yeah man come down for sure and say hi if you can, will be cool to meet you .
  3. "Got nothing to play, lol". http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-06-06-worlds-largest-video-game-collection-is-being-auctioned-off
  4. Yeah, SH stuff is great, a few of the lads have now got all of the books, which are all very, very cool. I've got a few tee's and stuff and had been hoping to get a toe strap for track days but they're always, always, sold out, . Yeah, I'm waiting for the EP3's to come under a £1000 then I'll maybe think about getting a mule to beat up on track. But saying that I'm having a lot of fun doing that in my 370Z at the minute, just a bit less of the beating, more trying to wrangle !!
  5. Honda did the same with the Mugen badge, it now just means, 'aftermarket'. You can get Mugen everything now.
  6. Good shout, I played Tropico 4, or rather I watched my mate play it a few years ago. It had good humour and has a slightly lighter approach to sometimes the more daunting city builder games like Sim City.
  7. Ah, right, got ya. Makes sense. The one they draped over your car is actually a proper one, a Takata 'Speed Hunters Edition' one, Password JDM is a quality one too, if you were going to get one they're the ones to get. However, I can't vouch for the Tegiwa one though . Good old Honda boys .
  8. Hey man, quick question, what have you fixed the Takata strap too, the toeing point is on the other side of the grill ??
  9. Most circuits will cook your oil if you don't look at the temp gauge . No, I understand what you're saying, I normally only do three or four laps of circuits, plus a cool down, before I come in for a rest (me and the car). That's why I tend to always do open pit lane, with sessions you have to stay out and either do cool down laps in your session, or bake your black stuff. You don't NEED an oil cooler for track days, it just gives you longer out there on it.
  10. This came through the post the other day. A PTUNING front toe hook GoPro camera mount for track days. Octet did a group buy from the states and it's very well built, very solid and gives confidence when strapping your £400 GoPro to the front of your car 30CM's from the surface of the circuit. Should be abel to give it a good go at Brands next month and Combe the mont after. That is all, lol.
  11. Yeah, you're not wrong there .
  12. This arrived the other day mate, only just got around to collecting it and what haves you's. Top stuff man, thanks again .
  13. I know, I do feel like a bit of a fool really .
  14. Yeah, you've got some classics in there for sure PigDude, lots of good games. Bioshock is one of my personal games of all time for the environment it creates and the writing. I also enjoyed Alan wake for what it was, pretty unique really. I'm just about to give the new UFC demo a try on the Xbox One. Not really a fan of fighting games that much, i do enjoy UFC but I still don't think that will be enough to get me to buy it but still, gotta give it a try .
  15. Did have, removed it due to issues, however...... It's now sorted, I'm a bit of fool really. I must have forgotten I'd changed these setting that are hidden in the depths of the Privcy section of the user profile. Once I'd updated these from 'BLOCKED' to 'EVERYBODY' all is now well again and my Xbox is signing me in too, which is cool. It's a shame that it isn't a little bit more clear that you have these settings altered as my settings just kept saying that I was visible online but I wasn't visible to anyone. Anyway, drama's over. Few pics of the hidden section that gives you further control over what everyone can see you doing. As you can see, I had 'CUSTOM' settings selected and active.
  16. Right, OK, so I've tried those steps above and I'm still not getting any luck, I still appear off line to everybody. Also, something I've noticed is that Im unable to set up the auto sign in thing my Xbox, so every time I switch it on i have to sign in. Not a major problem but something that isn't needed. Think I'm going to delete my profile from my console and re-download it again.
  17. Nein. Didn't break. Started to wonder why on Earth it wouldn't open, or why it had jammed. Then unlocked the car to have a sit and think, then when I heard the locks drop, paused, went back to it and it opened. Random but makes perfect sense really.
  18. Interesting little fact. The petrol filler flap will not pop if the car is locked. Do not try and force it. Repeat. Do not try and force it.
  19. Still trying to work out who Suits really is after all these months Nick Suters?
  20. I always imagined that if I got a Nismo or similar tuner car, I'd leave it stock, not mod it, as, in theory, its already modded. If I wanted modded car, I'd buy an OEM one and mod it.
