  1. I've had a few cars in the 7 odd years I've been driving, my first car that I got for free.. Decent runner, could treat it like crap and it kept going, also had a Porsche engineering sticker on it for cool points. Next I got a classic E30 which was mint until someone decided to ram their Peugeot into the side of it: Then an E36 which again took a hit in the side in pretty much the same place: After that I got a Civic Type R, modified it to about 240ish BHP.. Was going to supercharge it but never did, only car I regret selling: Sold it to get an Integra DC5 in a very rare colour, really nice looking car imo: Never thought it was much cop compared to my CTR though so I sold it to get this: I only sold it due to the condition of it, it was absolutely immaculate (50k miles, fsh etc) and I couldn't justify having it sit on my drive as I never wanted to drive it anywhere I'd have to park. I sold it to a friend though who looks after it well. Then I got the Zed.. which I don't have a picture of, it's a standard blade silver 350z so I'm sure you can use your imagination.
  2. I have to say I'd rather my phone was powered by lithium than petroleum.
  3. Interesting comment made by someone on the BBC website: "If VED is indeed a 'pollution tax' then why can you legally own a vehicle, declare it 'off road' run it around a track and not pay the duty? This is a tax for motorised vehicles to use the road network pure and simple!"
  4. I've been here for like a year or something, posted like 60 times.. I got to get busier.
  5. There's a 540 BMW running around here with the registration L1L WLY or similar, I have a picture somewhere.
  6. Well let's just hope you're getting all the pain out of the way first, that way you'll have years of trouble free enjoyment.
  7. I meant, if you're replying to them after they've put their name don't you just put Dear <insert name here>?
  8. At least the foil clad hangers keep the government satellites at bay.
  9. Don't you only put Dear Sir / Madam if you don't know who you're addressing?
  10. Not quite sure how someone can try to take credit for painting bits and bobs in their engine bay? People have been doing that way before the 350z was about so even trying to take that credit seems quite sad and attention seeking, it's like trying to claim you're the first person that thought of painting wheels a new colour... Looks good Ian.
  11. I don't really like noise cancelling headphones, feel vulnerable to burglars/serial killers/the missus sneaking up on me...
  12. If your excess is £700 you might as well sort it out by yourself (also, £700 excess and £2.8k a year? Wow), by the time it's all gone through the insurance you would only save yourself a few hundred quid but you'd have the hassle of declaring the claim every year for 5 years. If you're fully comp and want to go that route just tell them exactly what happened, accidental damage is covered usually.
  13. Where do you lot go to get all these appreciative gestures? All I get is flashing and hand signals when I overtake someone doing 40 down a country lane (safely might I add..).
  14. Welcome, Can I ask why you didn't have a say in the colour of the car? Also.. Is the MB dictionary in American?
  15. Not a colour combo you see everyday.. That's for sure... Points for being brave I guess!
  16. Love the black lip with the yellow, is that standard?
  17. Not to mention they will just buckle upon hitting a pot hole, the lacquer will just peel off etc etc, they're all sorts of wrong. Just to put it out there as well, a lot of people hate on Rotas because their quality is questionable compared to the original (not me personally). Wolfrace wheel quality is questionable compared to Rotas...... Just sayin', if it was my car I wouldn't put those wheels anywhere near it. It'd be like putting some unknown Korean brand brake pads in your callipers. No thanks!
  18. Nice looking car but I'd be concerned about having those Wolfrace wheels on my Z. There's a reason it's sub 600 quid for a set of 18" alloys. Unless there is another brand of Wolfrace wheels I'm unaware of?
  19. To be honest, you don't need to turn the ESP off to go fast around public roads (especially if your nervous about how far you can take the car..). I always leave mine on and can take corners at decent speeds. It would be gutting if the next post you made was 'So guys, I turned off the TC and got the woodland styling package for free'.
  20. Oh right, what a rookie. I didn't know convertibles had different seats, learn something new everyday They looked very similar to vadar seats out of an M3 at first.
  21. Looks different with the 370z rear diffuser, not a fan of the veilside front bumper but it's your choice and your car! Seats look interesting and comfy, what are they (not leather or a seat before anyone gets there first)?
  22. To get the cat/y pipe nuts off I had to use everything, bit of heating bit of grinding.. (got bolts etc supplied with the exhaust). It's a right pain in the arse, the bolts on the zed seem to rust more than any others I have tried to take off (older cars too, albeit slightly).
