  1. Can recommend TGM also, took my Integra there when some shite damaged the front bumper. Did a really good job and if they weren't so far away I'd use them for my servicing.
  2. Waved at me in my Silver zed this morning, I was far too tired to realise what was going on and I did wave back... After you had pretty much gone past
  3. That's not his missus, he just asked the previous owner to pose for a quick photoshoot before he drove the car away, hence the oddly matching jacket / car combo. Welcome aboard
  4. Surely you buy a car because you like the look of it? If you like the look of the M3 but so do 3 million other people, so what? Just suggests that the designers know how to make an appealing car. I can relate to wanting your car to look a little different on the road but then I feel that most performance variants do have that extra something about them that makes it stand out enough. You always have tuning / modifying options after if it's not enough. Even things like the Clio 172 etc look different enough for me to recognise its performance credentials. It is all about opinion at the end of the day, if a Daewoo Matiz had 400bhp and was one of the best handling cars ever made.. I wouldn't buy one because it looks sh*t. But this is a forum and what fun would it be if everyone agreed
  5. I think the thing is, you'll be doing yourself injustice if you look at a car and really like it but turn it down because there is another one parked two streets away from you, or you think others won't be able to tell the obvious difference between you car and an inferior model. I'm going to come around your house and point out all of your big brand electronics and say how me and my mates have got the same thing, then watch as you hurl them out the window in a fit of 'wanting to be different rage'. I suppose if you want an unpopular car and sacrifice performance / reliability / whatever for it then more power to you, I guess it's the same as sacrificing quirky looks for performance / reliability. EDIT: That's not to suggest all less popular cars lack performance / reliability.
  6. I've no idea why people are saying x y z are too 'common' or that no one would be able to tell it from another model of the same brand.. Who gives an iota what other people think about your car, do you apply the same logic to buying a work shirt or eating in a restaurant? 'F*ck eating in one of Gordon Ramsey's restaurants, no one will be able to tell if I have fish or chicken on my plate, let's eat in the bins instead it's much less obvious' Get the car you want, not the one you want people to look at. If it were my money, I'd be walking to BMW (yes, walking) to spend every last penny on an M3.
  7. Don't mind the red Z on the 370 badge but the burger badge Z looks silly. Could be the photoshop I guess.
  8. I already have the Cobra pipe although what sort of deal we talking here? Probably be easier to sell the entire Cobra system. Feel free to PM me if more appropriate.
  9. I'm not so sure about that, my line of work the salary seems rather nice over there. No idea what the cost of living is like though.
  10. I have the non resonated Cobra system and to be fair, I don't get that much droning (maybe going deaf??).. I'm thinking of getting rid of mine now, only because I don't like the way the exits clamp onto the exhaust.. Doesn't really have that Jap look about it. Good quality system though
  11. Thanks guys, I'd assumed from the pictures it doesn't have a y-pipe but then why call it a cat back? It's as confusing as lady boys. Guessing it'll mate up to a cobra y-pipe then.
  12. Also, wish I lived in the states.. Can get a ton of goodies that are reaching the £1K mark here for like $600.

    Agency Power

Can anyone confirm when it says cat back exhaust it actually includes a y-pipe or whether they consider the y-pipe part of the cats. In all the adverts I've seen for an AP exhaust it says cat back yet I've not actually seen a y-pipe or anything that would connect to two cats? Fancy changing my exhaust to a single exit Thanks,
  14. I remember a forum member on here telling a story of bad service... I seem to recall a few people were quick to defend the actions of said service provider. So yeah, I think both good and bad feedback should be posted but without the fear of having to defend yourself and your feedback if you had a bad experience.
  15. I'm not sure why people are against people putting positive comments about traders? Even if they just did their job, it's nice to know from a buyers perspective that they actually do what they say they're going to. I know from my own experience that if a trader has nothing said about them or only negative comments I generally avoid them whereas a trader that has lots of positives, even if it's just 'turned up on time and is complete', I have confidence in their ability to provide the product I'm looking to buy... Seems a bit mental and typically British that we're only interested in reading negative comments.
  16. Ah, I see what you're saying it's the fact that every post about a product has a trader in advertising for their own ends. I have to agree I've never really seen it on another forum and do find it a bit odd but I just ignore it and search around for the best deals, sometimes it happens to be the traders. As someone else has said it's usually an unwritten rule that traders stick to their cave on other forums, maybe something to be addressed? Other than that, I don't have a problem with people being happy with a service and letting others know. If no one ever gave feedback other than negative I don't think that would inspire much confidence in the trader for potential buyers.
  17. I'm a strong believer that this forum is here to help the members, but of recent it feels like its more here to help certain traders. If I was looking at buying I'd want to be able to ask for help or post up links with out the worry of my research being someone elses profit margin. Or the fact members are being directed to just 1 trader, not because they are the best but just because they have a fan club. I have started when people ask for products listing all the traders I know for parts and recommending people check them all. I also don't recommend people who I don't think do a good job. Isn't that all a part of having a reputation? Not sure I see the complaint here. Can anyone recommend me a good TV?................................
  18. A member of my family recently moved to Devon with a rather nice, well spec'd (veloce??) Giulietta and they sold it due to the narrow lanes and not wanting it to end up with scuffs and marks all over it, so I know where Phil is coming from. GLWTS
  19. As someone else pointed out, on a standard 350 it looks kind of odd.... Chop the springs, tape up a few windows, paint one wheel a different colour (using a rattle can of course), let people draw on one front wing of your car... etc, they're the sort of things you got to do to drive about with a sticker like that on. Basically, make you car look sh*t so it justifies the sticker...
  20. Get a little bit of tipex and put a dot between the 7 and the 5, you can be 007 and a half, licence to look flashy in your new motor.
  21. Nice cars, not jealous in the slightest.... Also, where's that guy that loves to plaster his car in Nismo bits. Thought he'd be the first in here!
  22. Hmm, I prefer the Zed to be honest.. Only because I'm not so anal with it that I leave it at home all the time. Also, it doesn't cost me £800 to service it but the M3 was one of the best cars I've had. I wish I had a garage, I would have both the M3 and the Zed then. They're both brilliant cars.
