  10. So the council/property developers should find out the name of every person who is ever going to live down the street, and ask them if they ever intend on owning X amount of cars and where they intend to park them?! Get real. It's people being short-sighted and selfish and expecting that because they live there, they can do whatever they want. Newsflash: No, you can't. You have to have some common sense like the rest of us, and if there's no room to park then go park somewhere else. The kerb/path is for people, not for vehicles. It's also not for cyclists either, but that's a whole different rant... Colin has said it perfectly. Yep exactly what is happening here, up to about 2 months ago the houses/flats opposite were still being built and we received a notice that parking restrictions were coming into force and parking only allowed in allocated bays and visitors areas were for visitors only. Luckily we rent a double garage so have room for 3 cars but all the other flats where people have 2 cars are up in arms saying they will refuse to pay for extra spaces WTF.... They KNEW this when they moved here, now there are signs up and cars are being ticketed, people are now saying they won't pay them so I don't know what will happen probably get messy + all of the above

  12. surprised this one hasn't come up yet whats the difference between pre facelift and facelift? and a personal favourite from a couple of days ago why doesn't my rev limiter work?
  13. i believe its called the 'squid' or 'squidding'
  14. you can take out your own policy with your dad as the registered keeper no problem, but as its only for a month you will probably lose out when terminating it unless you use a company that you intend to insure the z with and just transfer the car over its gonna cost you either way, i don't think its worth getting temp cover as that will probably be even more expensive
  15. There are some fair tards in the world though. + all the above if a company cannot quote you their best renewal price to start with DO NOT give them your money!! if they can match the cheapest or best after doing your homework then they do not deserve your money as an existing customer they should offer the best deal for you to start with!! they show zero loyalty to you so show the same back!!
  16. wtf he reminds me of that kenny everett character
